I just had an idea, you could get one of those small writing pads to glue on the cover for any notes your recipient might want to take down if they do keep this in their purse. Any dollar store has them and you can pick up a pack of pens there too to add. : )

What a cute album! Love that paper too. Your scoreboard might be skipping b/c there is something in the groove. I keep a clean paintbrush in my craft room and use it to 'sweep' the grooves.periodically.

So just a little comment after watching this the other day. I was so excited to try it and had just bought a stash of double sided summer papers. I really wanted to use the ones I had purchased with ice creams, popsicles and cupcakes. After cutting the paper I realized that half of the pages would be upside down...i think you mentioned this at one time. Well, here is what I did...folded them as instructed and on the middle page, the one with the side pocket, I cut both sheets with the half circle, with the first top pocket I cut the half circle as shown but the last top pocket I cut the half circle on what you would consider the back. I put on the ribbon just as you did but I left off the cover. The double sided cardstock was nice and thick. Then I decorated the front to the middle but then fkipped it over and decorated the back as I would with a front. I added my emblessishments from front to middle...flipped and did the same...hooe this makes sense. Then I added a little tag and called it a "flip book". This, I am sure, is my an original idea but adds to the Great design of your book if you have some fan papers where the design goes one way and you just have to use them!! Have a blessed Sunday and joy in paper crafting!!
