Hey Stella❣️ Your cards are 🎶STUNNING🎶, AND, Congrats on your trip! So happy for you. 😄 Yes, I dated a guy 23 years my senior when I was in my 30s. I was crazy about him, and if he would have asked, I would have married him. I have no doubt he loved me, but he was too caught up in our age difference, and after 2 years with us basically sneaking around, I called it quits. After that, he tried to get me to come back and promised he would work on not letting our age difference get in the way of what we had, but after 2 years, I had my doubts, so I didn't go back. Took a ling time to get over him. He always treated me like a lady, opened the car door for me, held doors open, always took me to do fun things and nice places to eat. I say age is just a number, but some people really have a hard time with it. Eventually I did move on, but it hurt for a while. I saw him a couple years ago at a Church where I did Zumba. He took an exercise class there. He looked the same except for his hair is white now, but he was still in good shape. Anyway, I'm 3 mths older than my current hubby, and we'll be married 28 years in Aug. Hope this new guy works out for you. You deserve to be happy. Well, have a blessed weekend. Thanks so much kitty cat! The date never happened as I’m sure you heard. He turned out to be a control freak. He was so nice in the beginning, almost too good to be true. Then he started talking about if we ended up together, he wanted to buy me a car. He asked me if I liked BMWs and I said not really. If I could pick a car, I would pick a Toyota Highlander. He said well BMWs are much better. So he asked me what I would do if he bought me a BMW. I said I would take it back to the dealer and trade it for a Toyota Highlander. That made him mad and he said I was just like his ex-wife. He bought her a nice car and she took it back and wanted a minivan and he got so mad. He said if he was paying for it, he could get whatever he wanted to. I said that’s true, but if you were buying it for somebody else, wouldn’t you want to get them what they want? I told him I think he cares more about material things than people’s feelings. He got mad about that and I told him goodbye.

@@stampingwithlisa Oh my gosh! He doesn't just sound like a control freak, he sounds like he could turn out to be dangerous! His temper is too quick, and he could be one of those wife beaters. Or worse! 😳 I'm glad you didn't go out with him. That's God's grace and protection. He'll bring just the right guy for you, and you'll be happy, and we'll all be happy for you. Until then, you have all of us. Not the same, I know, and most of us aren't near by, but whenever you need some company you can do an impromptu live, and you'll have tons of company. I'm having trouble catching your lives right now, but I'm in the process of getting mom ready to move in. That's happening by the end of this week. We'll still have to be going down to go thru the rest if her stuff, but by the end of May, she'll be completely out of the apt. Then, along with all of your other new friends, I'll be able to catch more of your lives. 😄 Have a blessed week my friend. Big Hugs❣️

I know exactly what you mean about the strawberry picking; I go to a pick your own farm too! And I do that exact same thing every time. Just as sure as I head to the strawberry barn to pay, I will run into a good strip of berries and just have to pick them! EVR EN if my containers are running over! I go planning to pick 30 ounds or so snd usually come home with about 50#’s!

I know! It's so funny. I usually pick about 20 pounds each time I go. We can go for about 5 weeks here depending on the weather. I give half go them away because it's just me but I love picking them. It's like opening ice cream and you just want a couple bites and next thing you know, you ate the whole container. It's hard to stop. They are just so much better than store bought. People just don't understand unless they've had fresh ones.
