Sir Difference bw thresold frequency or work function ?

Threshold frequency is a frequency. & work function is a energy. THRESHOLD FREQUENCY:- it is the minimum value of frequency below which there is no photo electric emission is possible. WORK FUNCTION:- it is the minimum amount of energy required to emit an electron from the meta surface. FACT:- we should have both ( Freq i.e threshold frequency & energy i.e work function) for photo electric emission. 🔮

Secondary Emission: When a fast moving electron is bombarded on the surface of metal then the electron gets enough electron to get ejected from it ,then this phenomenon is called as Secondary Emission.
