One Shotting Elden Ring's DLC with Pots

Hey everyone! Hope everyone enjoys this crazy run. This was a silly idea I had just to see how far I could make it with 1 Pot in the DLC, inspired by my True One Shot run. When I started the run, I didnt think it would even be possible. I definitely thought Midra and Bayle would be impossible but I thought I'd at least try to see how far I could get but here we are. Elden Ring is a crazy game lmao. Incase people wanted a more in-depth explanation about the messmer door mechanic, This is something I noticed during speedruns/hitless runs but didnt really think it had any value. The game queues the messmer cutscene while you're opening the door, but Elden Ring lets you teleport while you're opening doors during the animation. The problem was that if you teleported to anywhere near messmer (shadow keep) it would immediately pop you back into the fight. But i wanted to see what could happen if i teleported far enough away, so i went all the way to the rauh ruins and took the bridge back to the shadow keep and found one spot where I could cast my buffs and then take a step into the keep which would trigger the cutscene and teleport me into messmer. This let me maintain all my buffs instead of wasting them to the door! Crazy how this one mechanic ended up saving this run! Hope everyone enjoys and love you all!

Yeah a ds 1 player will tell you to keep it simple, power within, 99 int and rtsr thats all you need there to 1 shot 90% of the game.

I’ve noticed that bosses that doge projectiles tend to not do it when they are within a certain proximity to the player. I think Rellana just got close enough for her AI to not avoid projectiles.

I think it was a lock-on buffer? The attack was initiated before the lock on was triggered (this way you don't have every enemy on the map sidestepping every time a ranged attack is used).

Using this same build with a normal weapon or not worrying about it being a true one shot and just trying to win would absolutely make these fights trivial

If you didn’t know, bosses only dodge ranged attacks when your looking at them during the activation phase (aka a second after you press the button). This can be seen with the glintstone sword sorcery, as the initial cast will make a boss dodge, but they ignore the bolts launched at them afterwards. So you just happened to get lucky with Rellana as you were not facing her OR locked on during the initial activation, so her AI simply didn’t get the dodge prompt.

THATS_A_LOT_OF_DAMAGE.wav Outside of the golden vow incant, I've never really used any of the damage buffs, but I do like to use consumables like the poison darts to help with fights. The patience and precision this took is absolutely incredible to me. Especially the meticulous timing needed to land the explosions so that they'd hit the boss right after the cutscene. Marvelous job. Can't wait to check out your other work, this was a great video.
