I've learned that I have to put my phone away. I can listen to a couple of teachings, but then it has to go away. When I first came to Christ, cell phones weren't around, and there was no streaming or KZbin. In all that quiet, I had beautiful communion with the Holy Spirit!! We have to rid ourselves of distraction. The world won't do it for us.❤

*Scripture is God’s Invitation to Know Him Better* In a small, quaint town, there lived a pastor named John. He was a gentle, wise man, known for his deep understanding of the Bible and his ability to guide his congregation through its teachings. Among his parishioners was an elderly lady named Mrs. Thompson. She was a kind soul, eager to deepen her understanding of the Bible. For months, Pastor John had been helping Mrs. Thompson read the Bible from front to back. Each week, they would sit together in the cozy church library, discussing the passages they had read. Pastor John had come to know Mrs. Thompson’s habits well-how she interpreted the stories, the questions she would ask, and the personal reflections she would share. Finally, the day came when they reached the last page of the Bible. Mrs. Thompson closed the book with a satisfied sigh, a smile spreading across her face. “We did it, Pastor,” she said, her voice filled with accomplishment. “I’ve read the entire Bible.” Pastor John returned her smile but shook his head gently. “Mrs. Thompson, our work isn’t finished yet.” Confusion flickered in her eyes. “But I’ve read it all. Isn’t that enough?” Pastor John leaned forward, his gaze kind but firm. “Reading the Bible once is a wonderful achievement, but it’s not the end of our journey. You’ve been reading the Bible looking for yourself in its pages-seeking to understand your life, your struggles, and your faith. And that’s important. But now, I want you to read it again, this time looking for God.” Mrs. Thompson furrowed her brow. “Looking for God?” “Yes,” Pastor John replied. “We often approach the Bible through our own lens, searching for how it speaks to our own lives. But the Bible is truly about God-His character, His actions, His love, and His will. To know the Bible is to know God. So, I want you to take it home, and read it again… this time not to find yourself, but to find Him.” Mrs. Thompson nodded slowly, absorbing his words. “I understand, Pastor. It’s like looking at a painting. The first time, you see how it makes you feel. The second time, you see the artist behind it. Or like looking at a gemstone or jewel, everytime you turn it you’ll see its different facets and new sides of its character exposed under different light.” “Exactly,” Pastor John said with a smile. “In between the pages of the Bible, you’ll learn more about who God is and what He’s like. That’s why it’s not enough to simply read it once and be done. We must read it again and again, each time with a new perspective, seeking not ourselves, but God.” Mrs. Thompson looked down at the Bible in her lap, a sense of renewed purpose welling up inside her. “I’ll do it, Pastor. I’ll read it again, and this time, I’ll look for God.” And so, Mrs. Thompson began her journey anew. She took it home and began diving into the Bible with fresh eyes and an open heart. With each passage, she sought to understand God’s nature, His desires, and His incredible love for humanity. The more she read, the more she felt His presence, and the closer she grew to Him. Pastor John continued to guide her, their discussions deepening as she explored the scripture with new eyes. Through this new approach, Mrs. Thompson not only gained a richer understanding of the Bible but also developed a deeper, more intimate relationship with God, discovering His grace and wisdom in ways she had never imagined. Within those pages the glory of God was revealed to her more and more. In the end, she realized that reading the Bible was not a task to be completed but a lifelong journey of discovery and connection with God. And with Pastor John’s guidance, she embraced this journey with joy and devotion, forever changed by the experience. When we look at the Bible not just as a task or responsibility to get done, but instead look at it with fresh eyes we are able to see new sides of God that we never realized before. It is growing in our knowledge of God which brings us into a deeper understanding of who God is, His glory, love, and the immeasurable riches of His grace for us who believe. And it’s in experiencing that love that we are then transformed, and we come into the fullness of power and life that comes from God. (Ephesians 1:17-20) - “That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the Hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards us who believe…” (Ephesians 3:16-20) - “That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded (firmly established) in love, May be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-To know the love of Christ which
surpasses knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” So I hope this story has encouraged you today, to start your own walk with God by diving back into His Word. Make it something you look forward to everyday! Little known fact: with less than 15-20 minutes per day, you can read the entire Bible in just 3-4 months! The Word of God is more precious than pure gold or the finest silver, more desirable than diamonds or rubies, even the most precious gems can’t compare to the riches of God’s Word. The Word of God is Living and Active! It is God breathed! Just open the Bible and let God reveal Himself to you in new ways! Let Him speak new life into your life! 🙏 🙌

I am disciplined in the Word. Daily, I study the Word for at least an hour or more. Then I present teachings of the Word to my discipleship group and I LOVE the Word and Jesus with all my heart! My life is all about God! I am an intercessor. All of this for many many years. I live a righteous life. I help others, I provide council. I give. I live as holy as I possibly can. WHY am I still battling financially. I cannot even afford decent food. I get so many attacks from satanists and I am at a point of thinking about suicide.

David, I am 50 and disabled from spine surgeries and vertigo/MD. I am in the word and drastically changed my life, or should I say the Lord did. I was a horrible sinner. I concierge myself like Paul without his good works. I need help. I am attacked every night by demonic forces. I pray for it to be gone but it only doesn't happen if I have been in sin, like drinking alcohol, and those nights I get sleep. My wife often wakes me from the torment. The only time it fled was recently when I said a Hail Mary. I pray before sleep and everything.
