Maybe an elastic ( fabric) for hinges, I did it for something similar and it worked great😍😍

i tried a piece of leather like material but i think the curve is throwing me off, i did fabric hinges on the kitchen and it worked out great, i may try again but the curve and not having anything the fabric hinge to grab glue onto is hard, i don't want to ruin it. :)

Hi Ginger Lola. The bathroom is very pretty. Have you thought about using the spray paint that is designed for use on plastic? I think that Rust- Oleum makes it.

Thank you so much! Spray paint would be easier and faster, but during the cold months i can't spray paint, don't want to do it in my apartment, now that it's nice out, i can spray paint :)

I love Rust-Oleum spray paint! It comes in such a big variety of colors and so easy to work with. I actually just redid a door in my real house in the color vintage blush, and I love it so much, I must stop and look at the door a hundred times a day, lol. I worked in sections, then took a smallish to medium sized paint brush to create downward and upward strokes to show some of the color of the existing door underneath (which was ivory to start) the brush strokes added so much texture and dimension, and makes it really fun to look at. Going to save all my spray paint for future dollhouse projects. I don’t have a dollhouse yet, but my birthday is coming up soon, and thinking of getting myself something like the dollhouse here to remodel. Looks like so much fun!

That colour looks beautiful, I just looked it up, your door must look fabulous :) I need to buy some spray paint as well, now that the weather is warmer, I can spray paint instead of paint. I love giving these dollhouses makeovers, you will have lots of fun. You might find the same dollhouse in this video on Facebook marketplace, great thing about this house is that it folds up and can be stored away in a closet. I love it so much, I was sure the leather hinges were going to work. 🤔 wish I had a suggestion to help. I just found your channel today and it has lifted my spirits so much! Thank you for sharing. Oh I have a couple suggestions (I hope you don’t mind). I think I would use the adjacent attached room to make a larger bathroom suite. I would put the bathtub in there, that way Barbie has more room to soak in her tub. Also, one tiny thing, I think I would paint those little attached shelves white. Just my thoughts as I was looking at the overall after. I love your planters! Absolutely adorable, and overall wonderful work! Love, love your channel!

Hi, thank you soooooo much, so happy you found my channel. I love suggestions and feedback, still trying to improve my crafting and editing skills :) I would love to make a bigger bathroom, but I think a bedroom for barbie there would be better? i was thinking of somehow, making the floor bigger in the bathroom, if i had thicker cardboard, i could probably make the bathroom 3-4 inches bigger, that bathtub is way too big for it, i wish mattel would think of scale, even the barbies are too tall for the bathroom. I didn't know what to do with those shelves, was even considering cutting them off, but that would probably make a mess and break something, i was hoping it would kind a fade into the wall, i was thinking also of adding a piece of wood so i can make it bigger? Thank you again for your comment, it inspires me sooooo much!!! This Sunday's video i made a few more things for Barbie's apartment and I"m adding a dining room :) Video premiere every Sunday at 11 :) have an awesome day!

@@GingerLolaMiniatures you’re right about the funny scale with Mattel! Makes it extra challenging. I bet the shelves would be hard to cut off I know that vanity was really hard to cut open, I think I would just end up leaving them there rather than risk damaging the walls. Not hurting anything as they don’t look bad at all. I think I notice things most people would not? You’ve inspired me to get a dollhouse to refurbish so I’m looking at some inexpensive ones on marketplace. Also going to pick up all my old Barbie stuff that my mother kept for me (bless her for doing that!) can’t wait to see your new video! I’m thinking of playing around with making a cardboard bathroom in the meantime until I get a real house. You do an awesome job editing and creating, the best part is that we only get better the more we do! See you Sunday :)

Why not remove the sink doors & add a curtain rod & curtain instead? Then you could use the storage area & it still looks neat :)

Yup, I heard of Temu, after reading your comment, went there and I did find hinges, I think i'm going to try to make my own for the kitchen makeover, if it doesn't work then i'll buy some little hinges :) I added a picture in the new dupes video, look up ...LED Party Lights Bulbs Battery Operated Bulbs for Balloons, Paper Lantern, Party, Wedding Decoration on Amazon.
