@@JClover2 if it were for a wedding, yes i think it'd be worth it.....to do the bride and bridesmaids would probably save money ultimately because wedding makeup/hair is super expensive (if you get it done), so i think it'd be worth it for something like that potentially.....

Honestly your wedding day is not a time to try a new foundation technique typically I recommend going for whatever you know works best that you've already done and had great results with

Pro mua here who specializes in airbrush! 🙋🏻‍♀️ Most of the time you can take a liquid foundation shake it really well and thin it out with the Temptu mixing medium. It will sheer out the foundation but should help it go through if you are using an airbrush gun.

I own the Luminess air brush system and enjoy it very much. The only piece of advice I can give you is to not spray so close to your face. That's what caused your blotchiness and over use of product. A setting spray also helps after the foundation dries down onto your skin.

Ditto! There are truly other must have products that will change how you apply make up as well as how this luminess air brush makes makeup application very quick and even. There are so many videos i had to watch to find the correct techniques for me so i cant see anyone just grabbing this new “toy” and being 100% happy with their result from the first try. It takes practice and then you won’t use much else. Had you had the prepping products, there would not be any crepiness under eyes as an example. It doesn’t HAVE to be a FULL Luminesse system but you do end up falling in love with it. PS: Good girl on cleaning asap after use! Hygiene is No. 1 with this type of make up application but its worth it and Luminesse doesn’t take that long once u find your way! This would be great for a “go” bag for Luminesse and I’m surprised they haven’t made one!

I’m watching this (and other airbrush reviews) because I’m considering buying the Luminess Breeze. The other videos I’ve watched today (the non-sponsored ones) all say they don’t like it, BUT it was also first impression. They hadn’t used them before, and I assume there’s probably a little learning curve. I am 41 and have fairly textured skin already from teenage acne. I’m getting to the point where normal foundation doesn’t look great on me anymore. I’m hoping airbrush will look better. Thank you for commenting your experience. It’s good to know that people do actually enjoy it, before I drop a couple hundred bucks on it.

@@SoulShiner1115 I have textured skin too. Have you tried using a bb cream instead of foundation? I recommend The Missha bb cream. It hides texture really well, at least for me

It does work well. I use regular gel polish and thin it out with acetone and I’ve had no issues. I think I’m going to order some actual airbrush paint but so far it works good. It’s especially good for ombré nails.

I have a question - if you just put 22 drops of the foundation into like a little dappen dish or something and apply it as you would any other foundation, with a brush or sponge do you think it would give you better coverage, a more even finish and better longevity? I'm always curious about airbrush makeup and whether it does make the product go further so it would be an interesting experience to do.

Ur holding it to close to ur face. Also any areas of issues like acne or redness i apply concealer to before i airbrush. This allows it to cover evenly quickly and its just how i like to do it. Ive been airbrushing my makeup for a very long time before luminess air came out and i had to buy an airbrush system at an art store wich was way more expensive. Airbrushing ur makeup gives thee most flawless and seamless finish. Just takes a little time to play with to figure it out but very easy.

I found the best foundation ever. Better than air brush. It's waterproof it's light it covers flaws and you can wear it all night and doesn't hurt your skin. I'm 64 and I have alot of redness. This is perfect and not expensive. Great video.

Do you use good skincare or setting spray? I always thought I couldn't find a foundation that suited my skin but recently I worked out that a good cleanse and moisturise before my primer and a setting spray after fixes it! I did splurge on my setting spray and got the urban decay one but I bought the travel sized one and its lasted ages xx

Elf have a new powder mask and an oil control serum, not expensive and soo good! Its kind of a dupe for the farsali liquid powder (except i think it’s actually nicer)! I get really shiny but elf products help! X

Using a makeup that is not thinned for airbrush application will just clog the machine and provide splotchy results. I used Dinair years ago and when it worked, it was great, but the formulas were not really for my skin type.

I know that your not going to answer this question or maybe even see it other than your subscribers, but I thought it looked terrible on your skin, Dior have an Airflash foundation in a spray can that looks lovely on the skin if you spray it on a sponge or even go over it with a sponge or brush, I’m wondering if you could use other foundations with this product as there’s many foundations on the market now that come in a drop form I also wonder what would happen if you put all the foundation into the device and only used what you needed to get the coverage you desire, for the time it took you to get it ready then clean it you could have your foundation on without using such a device, waste of money just my opinion, but interesting 🤔.

She has said quite often that her skin is on the drier side of combination so she very rarely uses setting powder. For the most part she doesn't need any (if the quality of the foundation etc is good enough then drier/normal skin doesn't) and all it would do over a decent foundation is make her look super dry and cakey. I have combination skin, with it being oily on my T-zone and hairline and dry on my cheeks and forehead and putting setting powder on the drier areas is awful. I have to either give it a miss (which I do most times as I don't wear a lot of makeup - except eyeliner but I maintain that doesn't count 🤣) or if I'm going out/having a particularly oily spell (the week before my period usually) I will just set my T-zone and undereyes. It's a total pain in the butt to use powder when you have combination skin 😂

I don’t get the whole allure of the airbrush makeup. I mean, I’m sure it can be fun. But in general- you only get to choose from formulas made for the airbrush and considering how picky people are about their foundation, chances are high you won’t like it. Also, since it sprays out on your skin- it just sits there and never actually blends in.
