Hi Alexander. That’s a sweet one step grommet foot press. Glad you found that good connection in NJ to provide you with dies, too. Your workshop is sounding like you’re on your way to having every toy, I mean every piece of machinery, that a creative DIYer could dream of. Congrats on your new acquisition.

Thats awesome. Im so used to using a punch and then setting grommets and buttons. May have to see if they have something that will work with punching through webbing!

Definitely. I sent some samples for them to try out for me before hand and you should too.

Okay Alexander, you have me convinced I need an industrial machine for my work... The problem now becomes a 12-volt DC power source question... * * * IF I am doing my work in a desolate place where I can collect all the solar power to charge my batteries, which machine do I get that I can run on a 12-volt DC system? Are there conversion kits that might solve my problem? OR am I stuck converting my 12-volt into brief spurts of 120-volts to run the machine I get...? * * * Until that time. . . Earl J.

This is really outside my area of knowledge but I can offer this. These sewing machines can still be operated by foot powered treadle.

I'm curious. Stimpson makes Dies and Self Piercing Grommets. Why not just use those?
@AlexanderDyer4 жыл бұрын
I am under the impression that this is the company that makes those dies for Stimpson. Please share any contact info for Stimpson made dies. Thanks.

do you think it would go through thick webbing?

You can send a sample to Siska to find out.

can this be used for rhinestones
@AlexanderDyer3 жыл бұрын
Not sure they are readily available or not but If you can source the correct dies you would be a rhinestone setting mega-star.

Great video, Could we use the self-piercing grommets with stretch fabric, like womens bathing suit material?
@AlexanderDyer4 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure but if you send a sample to @Siska.com they can test it for you. Link in the description
