One Story 29, Blessed Land, Canaan [21CBL]

We know the land flowing with milk and honey, 'Canaan' (Exo 3:8,17, 13:5, 33:3/ Lev 20:24/ Num 13:27, 14:8, 16:14/ Deu 6:3, 11:9, 26:9,15, 27:3, 31:20/ Jos 5:6) as a 'blessed land'. In fact, ‘Canaan land’ is known as ‘the land of abundance’ and not have any ‘lack', ‘worry’, ‘anxiety’ and ‘concern’. This is because we see the meaning of “land flowing with milk and honey” only as “abundant”. However, in the Bible, “Canaan,” the land flowing with milk and honey, is not a “blessed land” where “everything going their way” like we think. Because life in the land of Canaan, where God's people entered after crossing the Jordan, was a series of repeated “crimes”, “punishments”, “cries” and “recoveries”. However, in the Bible, the land flowing with milk and honey, 'Canaan', is called the “blessed land.” Now let's begin this paradoxical story.
