Samuel's life was not very glamorous in this world. Only through him, God was preached and God's word was delivered to the Israelites (1Sa 4:1). In addition, the restoration of God and God's people was achieved again “through him” not “by him”, and victory over the Philistines, the greatest enemy in Canaan, was given (1Sa 7:3-12). The Bible says, 'Samuel continued as Israel’s leader all the days of his life' (1Sa 7:15). He led the Israelites to God, not as a king, but as God's agent. It became the most ideal country after the Israelites entered the land of Canaan. At that time, it seemed that the lives of God's people will not turn to other gods, sacrifice or follow them, and instead have God as their king.
