This goes slow, but you can push the guide forward and get 3/4 way through the tutorial quicker, watch the rose. Sewcrafty is very clear and a good teacher. As well as a good artist.

Your technique is great beautiful work. My advice to you is the first strokes should be left alone. I learned through my painting experiences the more you work paint into painting it starts to look messy. One or two strokes that's all. More important that your brush is clean. Use a paper towel instead of water to clean brush.

i totally agree with ya she was often repating the same petals and they got quite different from the beginning and also her ink was very thick making her painting messy at times
