If I was a judge on one of these "got talent" shows & had a performance like this served up to me (if they were unknowns)..... I wouldn't just hit the golden buzzer, I'd be shattering the thing into a million pieces with a hammer!!! I'd then ask them 1 question..... "How can I possibly critique PERFECTION???" That's just what this was, making the original sound like a nursery rhyme by comparison 😁👍 👏👏👏👏👏

Katrina joined a talent show on tv before, lost, did a few low-key shows here and there, did acting for a short period of time and then was not so visible career-wise. I am so glad that now her time has come. She waited too long for this. Well deserved.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way ☝️😁 I loved Boyz II Men, but Mariah just tried too hard to "take over" the song, thus relegating the guys to a minor part in the song. This version, brought to us by our lovely channel hostess, pretty much left the original "for dust". In other words, it was a COMBINED TEAM EFFORT & that's why we witnessed what can only be described as "musical magic" 👍👍👍👍

Katrina Velarde - one of the most versatile and acrobatic vocals at present. Many can belt but not too many can do riffs and runs with such precision and power like Katrina even while belting. Many can sustain notes but no one can sustain very high notes with such ease & duration like Katrina.

The problem is, the setting of this video (studio) makes people think that they’re singing live, while it’s not. This is clearly pre-recorded. This is actually a good example of how advanced the technology is, how effective the power of Recording Technique, Sound Editing, Enhancement and Sound Mixing are, in blending voices as perfect and clean as possible. They must have recorded their solo vocal separately, just like the backing vocals (their own voices, and probably additional male singers as background) and this vid must had been through many takes, repeats, corrections, adjustments many times. It doesn’t mean though that they can’t sing, certainly not. They are all good singers. Yet, we must keep this fact in mind, that those difficult parts they have done, probably wouldn’t sound exactly as perfect and clean as this recording version if they sang it all live together, coz this vid is just TOO perfect to be true. However, this is a good match and collaboration though. We have to admit that.
