I don’t get why quite a few of the comments are negative, this is fucking awesome especially for someone who was in 8th grade at the time. It sounded perfectly fine to me even if there were a few notes that were missed, I have never met anyone who could’ve done this when they were 12/13.

i played master of puppets at school last year when i was in grade 8... the crowd was the exact opposite... it was actually so loud that you could barely hear the guitar on the video recordings..

U'd b correct! This was only elemtary school & they had like 3 min. Ev1 got a lil prize at this show. He hadn't been playing guitar very long here in this video. But I thinks its cool 2 show his progression each yr. And yes as I recall, Kirk says its very boring to play solos exactly same way at every concert therefore he improvises to keep it interesting for himself.
