Pigs in general are tough creatures. I have a pet pig, and have studied about them in depth. They’re also very intelligent! I know my pet pig is! Sometimes almost human, he’s got so much personality.

@@wisdomseeker0142 Pigs are for sure smarter than dogs. A chimpanzee and a dolphin are 2 animals that are smarter. A pig is one of the few animals on earth that can recognize itself in a mirror. It's a shame that people look down and mistreat pigs. They are such nice creatures and very smart.

There's a good chance that was just footage from the chase they edited in to make it seem like the piglet escaped. They do it way too often to make the story have a deeper emotional feel.

was anyone else astonished by the warthogs speed? the pig family of animals continues to impress me, no wonder they are masters of survival (will eat anything, tough as nails hide, tusks, speed, strength, strong jaws, hooves)

It seems lions chase when they smell fear. When the prey stands up to them, they back off in mist cases. Same reason why lions act scared when they see Masai men walking towards them.
