I find it hilarious that after Whitey says that he just stands there arms folded and grins as though he's saying "Ah boys will be boys." You'd expect him to be totally pissed and embarrassed considering he's the Mayor yet he nonchalantly just lets it happen.

I love Lucas but I was with Nathan on this one. She kissed a guy and then left on tour with him. Why get married if you’re just going to up and leave? Then she comes back and expects to be instantly forgiven. He had every right to be upset and take his time in letting her in. I was glad at least Peyton was upfront about it to Haley. He needed someone to give it back to her. Lucas and Haley were both way out of line in this regard.

Actually Chris kissed Haley knowing he really did have some sort of crush on her even when he knew she was married. To be honest it’s not fair to blame Haley for leaving, besides Nathan is the one responsible if he hadn’t kept on pushing her with so much pressure on coming past her fears to show her talent more. Haley would’ve never left if it weren’t for him and the reason she left was because things weren’t on good terms for either of them. Yeah I know Chris is part of the problem but also, Nathan is the one who made her leave to pursue her dreams. She called him and reached out to him and when he went to see her, he just walked away like no big deal. Why should Haley be the one that should be punished? Nathan treated her so bad when she came back and she knew right away fixing her marriage was the right thing to do and his attitude was really getting on my nerves, even Whitey told him to grow up and quit acting so ridiculous. Sorry I disagree

Peyton has no right to speak on haley. Haley wanted to follow her dreams and the guy kissed her not the other way round. And lucas (while I'm not really a big fan of him) was being a protective best friend

Honestly, Lucas should not have had any input in the fight b/w Nathan and Haley. I get the fact that Haley is his best friend. But Naley is married, that is a fight b/w husband and wife. You shouldn’t take sides in that situation. Also, he was the one who had to pick up the pieces after Haley left and Nathan drank so much he almost killed himself, so he should have at least understood where Nathan was coming from.

IKR! That's what I say. He saw how hurt Nathan was by it, and like you said he saw him almost kill himself. I mean, when he crashed the race car, it was Lucas who figured out that it wasn't an accident. And it was Lucas who was in the car when he was driving drunk, and when he was drinking in class and lashing out at everything. He, of all people, really should've been more understanding to the fact that it wasn't as easy as he seemed to think for Nathan to just take Haley back just because she decides she wants to come back...

@@jasminedoan543 Lucas didn't condone Haley's actions nor he downplayed Nathan's pain, Lucas is just telling his brother that he is becoming too harsh or distant on Haley. Lucas is advising Nathan that the time of avoiding and giving the cold shoulder to Haley are no longer the factor, instead the time for cooler heads prevailing in order to address their relationship problems is the only way.

Lucas getting mad and constantly telling Nathan to forgive Haley kind of annoyed me. I get that Luke and Haley were best friends, but you shouldn't always just side with someone because of that. Lucas himself saw how Nathan suffered for months without Haley. Luke was there when Nathan tried to KILL himself. After all that, I don't that Luke had the right to meddle and go as far as comparing Nathan to Dan. Nathan just needed his own to forgive Haley, and people forcing him to was annoying.

Exactly!! If my best friend was married to my brother, and they were fighting, i would not have even gotten involved. Especially when I see how hurt my brother was by her actions. I would have supported my brother and helping him work past the pain. Lucas had a problem getting involved in other people's business.
