Situations like this in film and tv always frustrate me. As a type 1 diabetic let me say, one hour would not escalate THAT quickly, it would take several hours...like the whole day without insulin to get so sick people can see it.

My mother in law is too and she is the worst and doesn’t test and leaves it to last min, eats what she wants. So it could kind of be plausible. She is better managed now she has her pump and dexcom. Her normal was 12-15 🤦🏼‍♀️
