She hasn't let any pain in from when she was attacked. When she talked to Deb the first time, she said "I'm not going to cry." Seeing Jamie be so strong and let that cape float onto Quentin's casket, she broke. She couldn't hold it in anymore.

I always find it so ironic that Brooke finally breaks down at the funeral of the person who was killed by the same person who attacked her. It's just so powerful when the grief hits her.

I remember watching this for the first time and I cried so hard and it made me feel so empty the next day. not only because of a fictional character's death..but how this happens in real life. How young, aspiring teenagers like Quentin are killed..taken away from the world in a blink of an eye. They made this episode so raw and real, and that's what really made me feel the strong emotion in the episode.

I have a 26 year old cousin who died last week and I loved her like a sister. I know first hand that if you keep the pain to yourself, it will eat you down until there's nothing left but despair. For those that are going through the same pain as I am, let people know how you feel and cherish those that are still in your life. Let go of the pain and live your life while it's a good one. I know that this is just a show and they are just actors playing characters.. but.. this show makes it feel so Real.. and I know that things like this happen everyday in life.. it's sad... but.. this series and these episodes give you hope and faith.. that even when the world is ugly and a it's worst.. there is still love and.. the best in people.

I got chills watching this scene. Absolutely fantastic acting, Soph made it seem as though she hadn't take a breath since the attack and she was only letting the pain seep out of her body. It was really beautiful, and Jamie is so cute

This is so sad, we had somebody die at our school who was an amazing athlete and friend and that last line really got to me, actually this whole entire episode just reminded me of him & had me in tears the whole time. It shows you that tomorrow is never promised & we all learned that when Wesley died at our school, and even if your school has never been through something like this, let this episode be a lesson to just live your life like there is no tomorrow.

Rewatching this show and it's way underrated. Never had a true place for it personally but after rewatching it's above Friend's, The OC, Dawson's Creek for me. None of those shows transitioned better than OTH, they were able to show life after high school in a realistic real world type of way. They showed consequence and how friendships are made stronger and how good people become bad people due to bad decision making that leads to other bad decisions. So many emotional turns in this show it's pretty impressive.

I loved this episode it was so sad...I am glad that Brooke finally was able to shed those tears...how stupid can her friends be to believe those bruises came from falling down the stairs srry...I loved watching the interaction between Dre and Jamie and throughout the whole show I balled my eyes out. It was so sad but so easy to relate to cuz its never easy loosing someone in your life. OTH must make more episodes like this one so full of sentiment. It was awesome!!!!
