Art imitates life. "It's a show" is a cop out answer. You wouldn't use the it's a show excuse if they had a man slapping a woman. This is what gives women license to assault males in real life instead of feeling like they won't get away with it and then they'd be less likely to do it.

Why do I always feel like the writers gave Danieel /Rachel this storyline about her whole body being fake just try to cut her down as a person and invalidate her beauty. I mean a lot of shady stuff went down behind scenes with her so it’s really not reaching here.. Felt so bad for her for all of that. Very interested to see what the “Drama Queens” girls podcast talk about when they get to this episode.
