I love when I finish a Poirot book, I can come and watch your review. You're my candy after a meal! I don't read all the books in order, but this one is definitely one of my favorite. I loved the political side, and Jane Oliveira. And I really love the ending when they talk about what people represent in society and what they can/should do. It was really an interesting one!

I didn't really like this mystery too much, but your discussion here about the political side of things really places it in context and helps me to better appreciate Christie's commentary on these topics. Nice review!

The mystery of this one is IMO weak by Christie standards and to much relying on coincidences. For example (and it's not the only one): What would the murderer have done, if Morley had taken his patients even in a slightly different order?

Just to say in Britain surgeons (and dentists are dental surgeons) are not addresses as Dr but as Mr So the surgeon in the hospital and the dentist would be normally addressed as Mr. BTW my dentist was Mr Payne when I was a child in Britain LOL

I am totally frustrated by this book, because the murder is simply impossible. No, literally, I've checked with an expert about the means by which the victim was killed, who confirmed this was NOT POSSIBLE.

About the nursery rhyme thing... I'm starting to suspect that she got ideas from the rhymes and worked from there. (In Spanish this one wouldn't work so, of course, it is "Death visits the dentist" XD ) Thank you for your videos. You always have plenty of ideas I wouldn't have considered.
