m110 heavy barrel, vert grip and slip scope is my favourite gun in the game. Slip scope is the only 2x scope in the game, all the other medium range scopes are 4x.

4x scope on the SV98 let you still snipe with the guys that mount 10x or 20x, just better, you can adjust the acog up to 1000, so that you can countersnipe scope glints pretty easy once you got the rangefinder

quick side note: The M200 Sniper is the ONLY Sniper in the game that can 1 shot headshot a support with a heavy helmet on. Great video!

i recommend running a suppressor with the m249, the lack of muzzle flash and sound makes it take way longer for enemies to even register your existence, additionally its much easier to track enemies without the large flash in your red dot/slip scope

Haven't used the M110 yet though I did unlock it earlier - but think you're using it 'wrong'. The barrel doesn't reset as fast as the scope does, so if you're using a medium optic you want to wait just long enough for that to happen, you'll get a feel for it pretty quick if you are firing at stationary or near-stationary targets. I think the battle rifles are probably pretty underrated - they excel spectacularly at laying down a lot of extremely accurate fire on target from medium ranges, so long as you time it right. The key part is to take your time and aim, make sure every shot hits - and that at least one shot's a headshot on an unsuspecting target. It can be alright at pewpewing in closer ranges with a short-range optic but at medium-long ranges you want to be precise. Also worth noting that the weapon remains 'meh, alright' even at fairly long ranges - it excels most at medium range where autos will have a very hard time putting any real damage on you before you put 2 in their dome, and again at closer ranges it's back to 'meh, okay'... basically I like em =D

Nice suggestions - I haven't even really played assault or squad leader since the playtest, but the weapon choices make sense to me. I mostly play engineer and I do not like using the Groza - I much prefer a longer range gun like the SG550 which comes with 2 extra mags (idk why this gun and the AUG have extra mags) since I want to risk getting hit as little as possible UNLESS I'm playing with a Medic I know and trust.

I never knew that about the SG550 or the AUG. Though I have never used the SG, those extra mags are handy. The only way I enjoy playing at a range is with a sniper in my hands, I feel useless without one!

AK15 imo is actually nuts if you use it right. It's only a 3 shot body kill and if you tap fire it competes really well with DMRs as longer ranges. The only huge drawback is the massive recoil, which can be really punishing if you're not careful.

Just have to pause the video; most people do not want that on the screen for long. The end one is messed up anyways, but the barrel is SDN, and the main sight is a red dot!

@@MurphWithoutTheY Nah, just the assault, but the buffs are these. 1. 25% boost to reload speed 2. 20% boost to ADS speed with close-ranged sights 3. 25% boost to weapon swap speed

You don't need to calculate for bullet drop off in this game, if you alt+zoom while ads, you'll be able to adjust for drop-off range.

Then you still calculate bullet drop.... You just compensate by zeroing instead of aiming above the target.

@@jejeje6034 Heavy barrel is unlocked after getting 260 kills with the weapon, though! For me, it was a pain to get 25. Also, 2 shots equal 102 damage which most players wear armor, so it will still end up being 3 most of the time.
