I have seen quite a handful of videos explaining ANOVA, this really did explain a lot to me. Thank you for creating this.!!!!

Hello sir. I would like to ask, what if we get a pvalue of >0.05 in the ANOVA table which indicates no difference among the groups, should we still proceed with post hoc test? And how do we tabulate the data?
@researchwithfawad3 жыл бұрын
If the ANOVA results are insignificant, no need to run post hoc analysis

Hello sir. Thank you so much for this video. I have one question though.... In the post hoc option.. If equal variance is assumed... Which of the option should we choose.. Like tukey, scheffe...? And what is the basis of selecting these options..
@researchwithfawad3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I am glad you liked it. There is no precise criteria, most of the time the post hoc test results do not change. But Tukey, benferoni, and scheffe are the most used ones

How would you recommend reporting insignificant results from the same model?
@researchwithfawad2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your interest. You may do it as, The ANOVA results suggest that the Organizational Commitment scores do not differ significantly across the groups (F = ...., p > .05). Hence, H1 is not supported. Since, the analysis revealed insignificant ANOVA results, post hoc analysis was not performed to assess between group differences.

Sir, Could you please mention the criteria how to select different types of post hoc test.. Dunnet, Tukeys, Scheffe test..
@researchwithfawad Жыл бұрын
Post Hoc tests are selected based on Levene's text. The different test for equal variance assumed and not assumed do not have any specific criteria.

If in ANOVA test, the p value is significant I. e. 0.003 but we got insignificant value in levene statistic i.e. 0.08 in the same variable. In this case what will we do for interpretation.

Might be slightly different from APA 7th as a number of changes were made to APA 7th reporting. Kindly refer to APA 7th Edition Guide.

1 ques sir.. what if in ANOVA table 1 variable has sig. value of .001?
@researchwithfawad2 жыл бұрын
This means the differences are significant even at .1%
@ShinewithDr.Pooja262 жыл бұрын
ok so we can proceed with post-hoc test ?

Sir, I have a question. How about if I have more than 2 variables and want I to differentiate these variables? Can I use this test?
@researchwithfawad3 жыл бұрын
If there are two dependent variables to be compared across group, you will habe to use MANOVA.

Hello sir The video tutorial is extremely helpful in my studies. But i am curious about what the F value in Anova table. Is there any video on that sir? Thanks
@researchwithfawad3 жыл бұрын
F statistics means whether variance between two means significantly different. F value also determines the p value
