I went to Japan in 2019 too , but in January /february , You are so lucky it was only 13 hours flight , for me it was 30 hours ( on the plane , withut counting we had to wait form one flight to the next one ) it took 2 days to arrive there . First we went to Dallas in USA , and then to Narita , but the first flight was about 14 hs and the next one was about 16 hs . As we were 3 we rented an apartment so it was bigger than a hotel because I already knew the hotels were very small ( we booked a hotel in Osaka and it was sooo small ) I went to a bird cafe , it was so nice and they had a lot of different birds .I went with my niece and she loves Sanrio characters so we went to Puroland , she got crazy there with all the characters . We visited Osaka too and it wasn´t that busy and it´s lovely and there is so much to see there too.

Sounds like you had a great trip! And yeah wow that is a long flight, but worth it!

Sounds like your next big vacation when travel is back to some normality is to Japan I reckon. Hey my b-day is 3/13.
