I had a Cloudburst Gray but sold it to get that Blue/Red combo. I love mine. There are faster cars with more tech... but they're all 6 cylinder turbos. I'm glad Lexus gave us a V8 option.

That engine is iconic, that red interior is amazing, the gauge does move, love the CD player for better sound...an amazing price for this car for all that it offers comparatively

I love everything about it, no all the useless infotainment crap by the way love the cd player, comfortable have enough power to get you in trouble within seconds. White exterior with tinted window and black wheels look sick. The dealer insisted me to tinted the window said it will look good and they are not lying. Even my wife not a car person said the car look mean

It really is too bad you’re not in an area with canyon carvings or mountain sweepers, because this car is a hoot! Our car club heads up to the North Georgia mountains regularly and the IS 500 truly shines. The Jekyll & Hyde dual personality is one of its best traits. Keep it in normal or regular Sport and you’ll have a great daily commuter. Lexus tuned it to be a daily and a GT car first and foremost. I absolutely love the Hero Spec, ( Some say Spider man, others say Super man) I get compliments on mine every single day. (…and my Silver Enkeis look better than the dark BBS’ in my opinion. Plus the silvers were available for 2022 only, so they’re extra special.) Thanks for posting!

Love the Pepsi color theme, and yes the Enkeis in silver are killers here... The only color theme where the BBSs really shine is in the Stormtrooper (Ultrawhite and black)

I've rebuilt a fully loaded 2021 IS350 F-Sport several months and I'm hoping that one of those days it would hold it value as that V6 is becoming rarer by the day!

Speaking for the DC fans, I think it has Superman specs. Is that less shocking for you? I think the black/white interior goes well with the blue exterior. Love the car with the BBS wheels. I also like the standard black chrome spokes that come with the IS 350 F Sport trim. Maybe in a couple of years, I will be in the market for an IS 500 (in infrared). If it gets AWD, I would be all over it. Hope it is still around.

So I have a 2023 is500 the driver side panel control keeps breaking. I cannot listen to my music without distortion because the control panel is loose I have taken to Lexus Honolulu 3 different times they replaced it 1 time already it lasted about 3 months then back to the same thing and they still haven’t fixed it.

I have a chance to drive the new IS350 for short period time, the gauge moved. That is weird they don't have gauge cluster for IS500. What is Toyota thinking? Is it because it is target to heavy foot driver? 🤔

I do think the subframe is different up front, but the fenders are not. The dimensions on this car are almost identical to the IS 350 - the only difference is that the hood is longer, resulting in the front of the car being approximately 2 inches farther up than the 350.

Front subframe according to savagegeese is from GS-F, not the same as IS350, 500 is not wider according to lexus spec sheet, also 90% of the reviews got the Yamaha body damper wrong, it comes front and rear not just rear. same with the ML sound system it's a DVD player not a cd player...

The Yamaha damper thingy is the same as in the LC. It's a laterally-mounted piece.

I think the biggest mistake Lexus made is dropping the GS series. If they designed a new GS in the same spirit as the new IS it would fly off the shelves.

Unfortunately that is not the case. GS was killed because NA market bought ES over it. And GS F was too limited, it sold in very few cars. IS facelift and redesign sold them a lot, then they either wanted to do a 2UR-GSE homage and Lexus North America wanted the NA V8 so the Japanese stepped up and delivered this. IS 500 also is a very limited production, 2024 is the last for this IS line and even the naturally aspirated V8. LC and RC will also be replaced soon.

@@85CEKR I own a c6z for this reason. Not an automatic family 4 seater, if we're gonna talk about "rwd sportiness". I don't even think the IS500 will let you do a burnout, so I'm not sure what you think this car is 'about'...but there are dozens of superior sporty rwd cars out there.

@wat2875 turn the traction control off, and it'll do burnouts all day long. Sure, there are sportier rwd cars out there, but it's still a "sports sedan." And it's probably the purest sports sedan available today, with an NA v8 and rwd. Giving it awd would make it something completely different. If you want Awd get an IS350 or and audi.
