BAaaaaaylee!! You should do a nozzle check every day, just on cheap paper for 2 reasons. 1. It should help keep your tubes and heads more moist and clear for when you need it. 2. If something gets a little clogged you can clean it before it gets too clogged and you need to take the whole head out. I don't have the Cannon, but I do work in a place that uses a giant brother GTX to print tshirts, and we have to use it every day for the same reasons. Just make it part of your schedule.

If you have some sort of box with you, you can put the second sticker display on that like a riser behind the one in front and have a higher display but using less table space.

If you decide to use the higher shelves of the display a piece of heavy card stock or chipboard card behind each stack of stickers would probably stop them bending backwards x

Bumble Baylee you could put them up on your Redbubble, but I don’t think you will due to most of your stickers being copyrighted characters. But I also want some of your sticker sets and I don’t think I will ever go to a convention in Canada, since I live in the US.

Bumble Baylee Maybe try looking into silhouette! I love mine and hardly ever have any Issue. Return the cricut if you have the guarantee stuff. But if one day you do want to splurge silhouette cameo is the way to go.

Depending on what sort of booth you have, if you can pin ribbons to the booth walls and put binder clips along the ribbons and pin or staple them to the walls...... Good for displaying art too

I’ve got that same Cricut :) Why can’t they make a decent printer? Like... they can make an entire computer fit in your pocket, but they can’t create a printer that doesn’t break every 3 days? I mean, COME ON! I just returned a PIXMA to Amazon because after having it less than 2 months and printing maybe 100 pages total, if that, it wouldn’t pull paper in from the rear feed anymore. I tried all their troubleshooting multiple times, cleaning the rollers and all their other stuff, but nothing worked. Ridiculous. I barely even used it.

before I print, lately, I've been saving the document as a pdf. The colors are always brighter. Somehow the "language" that pdf speaks to the nozzles is better lol... I don't think that will work with stickers going through the cricut but it might help with the button printouts.

hey baylee! i noticed that you use plastic sleeves for ur stickers and art, and i recently stopped by daiso, and they had 4x6 sleeves and a bit of a bigger one for 1.50. the 4x6 came with 40 sleeves, and the bigger one came with 25. but i thought that this was useful so i thought i’d let you know!!

Be careful of using vertical displays for paper products. I loved mine, looked real spiffy. They were brochure holders. People liked to shove them back in and I had to quit using them because I had too much damage. I got a postcard rack, and put minimal quantities in so only a few can be damaged. The place I bought my spinning rack from also makes a stationary display rack.

The printhead giving out is a pixma issue, a think. I have a pixma as well but an older/lower model but i change out the printhead every... 1-2 years? Depending how often i dont use it haha

I made my own stand with card and my glue gun, as I have cards and prints together, you could use foamcore board for a white stand if it doesn't melt. look at leaflet stands too, they have higher backs.

I don't know if you changed it for the actual printing but when I paused I saw that the stickersheed is in a RGB format wich is a comepletly differend colorsystem than CMYK wich you use for printing, thats proprably the main reason why some colors look off (Maybe you already knew that but I tought I let you know just in case)

I know it is a big expense but why not get a laser printer? the print quality is better and you dont have to worry about print heads getting clogged. and you wont have to buy a new printer every few years.

Do you still use non canon ink for your printer? I have the same printer (for a little over a year now) and haven't had any issues with clogging or anything. And I know, being an artist you gotta find the best bang for your buck (oh, how I know ;P ), but for me I'd rather spend more on certain supplies so I don't have issues with big purchases down the line. :) 💜

I have an epson 1400 but my prints come out so dull because apparently you need a special color profile with Photoshop and other programs. So I have to figure that out. :( Does your Canon need a special profile?

You can check on the convention website and get in contact with the staff and ask them about artist alley applications. You'll have to fill out an application and even then you might not be accepted. Artist alleys can sometimes be competitive, so it's best to apply as soon as you can. Hope this helps! 🙂
