I truly see your growth! Congratulations! I have not had a drink in 8 years! I would drink because I was shy and would never get on the dance floor unless I had a drink! After an injury, I realized that I didn't need that crutch! I never kept alcohol in my home especially when raising my children because children mimic their parents! Alcoholism is serious and we have to protect ourselves! I am hoping others will follow your lead!

Hi Maya I had very dry scalp and I even sought treatment from a black dermatologist. They prescribed me medicated shampoo, which helps but the biggest help was deep conditioning my hair with natural aloe vera (directly from the plant/squeeze the aloe juice from plant and rub gel on scalp). I learned about this method online and when I say my scalp is so clean and free of dryness/flakiness/itchiness it's a freaking miracle. I started a routine of deep conditioning my hair with my sulfate free shampoo, deep conditioning with the aloe for 45 min-1 hr covered with a cap, and finally deep conditioning with my regular sulfate free conditioner. I would highly recommend trying it for a few months and see what happens. My hair growth has progressed as well due to my scalp being healthier. Try a test run first on your skin. Hope this helps.

I agree. I believe the Lord convicted me to start saying that I'm on an abstinence journey rather than a celibate one. Abstinence can be temporary and focuses more on delaying or limiting sexual activity, while celibacy represents a more permanent decision to eliminate sexual relationships. I believe we can block our blessings by the things we speak over ourselves, so I just wanted to share that because I 100% agree.

Gurl! I got PTSD from your AC story. I just got my AC repaired TODAY. My drainage pipe was clogged and it overflowed into my dinning room ceiling and inside my walls. The repairman came out Friday, Saturday and Sunday (today)! My downstairs was 82 degrees and upstairs was 87 degrees. I was MISERABLE!
