SO MANY FIGS. 🥰 I have some serious fig envy, lol. I only have six fig trees, four years old, and last year was the first year I got two fruits! 😂 This year I’m watching fig videos for tips because I realize I know nothing about growing figs. 😅 Just got a Panache Tiger, so I hope to grow/raise it more properly. Thx for the tour, happy growing! ❤

Very impressive collection. I am always interested to hear which are you favorites and the quirks of some varieties. When you say some of your trees died back to the ground, is it because they got cold over the winter or is this something spontaneous that happens?
@littlebexarfarm27 күн бұрын
Thanks! So they died due to the cold. We got down to 8 degrees for several nights this past winter and those varieties that I mentioned are not cold hardy at all. I also do not heat the tunnel.

@@littlebexarfarmI have some questions about your watering setup. How much water do you deliver to each tree and how often? I'm new to growing figs in south Texas zone 9b. Currently they're in 10 gallon pots and water 1 gallon per day in the 95°+ heat. I'm going to try to put them in ground this fall. So I was wondering what you do for your watering routine. Thanks.

Nice job!!!! What fertilizer are you using for your trees and how often?
@littlebexarfarm5 күн бұрын
@@italianbusker3329 I use a blend of fish, kelp and seaweed drench at the beginning of the season. Then foliar spray throughout the season with a similar blend one a month.
