Bitter Cold Showdown 2023

Ten years may have passed since the last BCSD but the excitement raged on as an international field of bladers took to the course at Modern Skatepark for a chance to earn the title of BCSD Champ. After a long day of impressive blading and exciting tricks, Luke Naylor took the title with an incredible Finals-round showing where he leveled up in real time, linking highly technical tricks back-to-back to come out on top. Congrats to everyone that came out to Detroit for the event and each and every competitor, with special thanks to Daniel Kinney for making it happen “one more time.”

Congrats to Naylor! Definitely not trying to take anything away from him at all. But unless there's a lot more clips of him killing it that weren't featured in this edit, I truly don't understand how he out skated Cudot, Atkinson, Pottier or Savage.

How on earth did 6 judges ‘unanimously’ choose Luke as the winner? Seriously?? Cudot also laced ao wall ride 360 out above that high coping and a 450 royale 540 out up there as well! Aint no way Luke got any one of Cudots tricks.

Joe is the best. Naylor skated top notch as did Savage. Cudot and CJ were amazing. All of that being said… Joe is the best. If you were there you would understand. I’m talking speed with amplitude for the win.
