I agree about one table for the family! There are definitely distractions, but it always works out better for Mom! And I love having everyone around one table!

Yes I totally agree, also I have a basket with pencils, crayon, markers, paints, brushes, scissors, my kids share no problem even though they don’t with toys. Kids need to know everything they share especially in our family home. They all have enough supplies so they dint have to wait for someone else to finish but they learn to share the supplies in the middle of the table. Its way easier to keep tract of things and put away

I love your setup! I dislike the all white desk look, or all white with pops of color. I love the warm tones of wood, and brown baskets and darker colors. Like it still looks like a home, not a laboratory.

I share one table (our dining room table) for all my three kids, they are very young and do a great job for sharing supplies, however they interrupt me while reading or talking to the other kids, so they have little mini flags I made with a stand when they need me they leave it up and I know and can see that they need me. It sounds silly but it really teaches them to not yell my name and interrupt also they learn to be patient. We do all this without raising hands, yelling, or even talking. If the little flag doesn’t go up that means they don’t need me at all

Our homeschool area at the mo is smaller but wen we move will grow. I prefer the whole table. I have organised the space in an awesome way!!! I love the level 3 poetry book!!!
