Watching your routine was such an encouragement to me! Thank you for being real! This is our first year homeschooling our 5th grader, 3rd grader, Kindergartener, while our 3 year old is playing with us! I have set up a similar schedule, and to see someone else have the same struggles and kinks to work out is so reassuring!

Our first day is never this productive 😅 Great job! We normally treat the first day like a back to school party 😂 We have treats, play some educational games, do some reading, nothing super serious. This year is different for us as well so easing into all the new things... We start Friday 🎉😄🙏

I love watching other people's homeschool days.We are on year 9 of homeschooling.We stager our kids math on the tablet.While one is doing mth the other is doing another subject.They take turns on who goes first everyday.I agree,head phones are a great idea.We use them when needed.

I absolutely LOVED this DITL! We’ve been homeschooling for more than 20 years and your day feels so familiar! I know things get into a better flow as the days go on but I think this encouraged me in a way I needed today.

I always made a school bucket or cubby for my littles while I’m with the big kids. And I would only take it out during school. It could be old school books they could scribble in, snack in their cubby, or a hands on craft that they can control.

Hi! New to your channel. New to any subscription. Finding so much encouragement here. Giving me confidence to continue our homeschooling journey. Watched several videos since last night and more as time allows. We also do school around the table. Thank you for showing some of your organization techniques. It's so hard to make it look 'pretty.' I'm wondering.. do you and children always get dressed and prepped and hair done etc every morning for school? Also can you comment on how to keep children seated and actually doing work? Feels like we are all over the place. We have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. With a 3 year old tagging along. So encouraging to hear and see what other mamas do. How else to communicate? Email? Thank you

we got a Chromebook (11.6 inch) for our oldest and it has been great. So easy as far as parental controls go!

I love your planner!! Can you tell me where you got it? Also, thanks for all your videos. It’s refreshing to watch videos on your good days, harder days, and all the homeschool honesty! We pulled our daughter out a year ago so we are entering our 2nd year of homeschooling and she’s entering 4th grade. I still need all the advice and help I can get!😂

Loved this! My struggle is also keeping my little one occupied while i school my second grader. I only have 2 kids so i can't imagine how difficult it is with 5! Each year my older one gets more independant with her school work so it gets easier but some days are rough for sure! Hope ya'll have a great year!

As weird as this is I love seeing that you don't have internet! We just moved wayyyyy out into the country from a decent sized city and it's the best choice my family has ever made. It's also our first year homeschooling and I've been in a panic thinking I couldn't do it without internet but you've helped me realize it's not fully necessary. Thankfully though, we are expected to have it out here in a couple of weeks and I will be getting it but it's not a make or break deal. I hope y'all have a great school year, I'm looking forward to learning along with my kiddos! 😄

It's amazing how we mamas just adapt to our circumstances!! 💪💕 It is absolutely possible to homeschool without internet! I'm just thankful for my phone & Hotspot for the lessons I do have to stream! ♥️ You've got this, Mama, and congrats on the new house! There's nothing like country living!

It can be done! I've been homeschooling for 8 years and have never had internet. I sometimes do think it would make things easier, but it's definitely not a necessity.
