😂 I saw that uppercut Akimoto threw up next to the fence and said the same damn thing. "Looks like rock-em-sock-em robots!" 😂 Great fight!

If Capitan wants to clinch, fight Muay Thai rule set. Go for the Muay Thai belt. Catch a clue.
The judges fought with no knee. Penalty if knee is used. Thank you judges. U pick the winner.

Knees are allowed in kickboxing (except for Full Contact rules)

I don't know that it affected the outcome but that officiating was horrible. There were no clinches after the first yellow. Totally affected how he had to fight.
@user-zv8pr4je4gАй бұрын
Seriously you can't even hand fight in close quarters? Is it not k1 type rules where you can grab and knee once? Either way there was no actual clinch after the first one.
@MummymunmuggyАй бұрын
What fight were you watching? Clinching is not just the textbook both hands behind the ears. Casuals.
@user-zv8pr4je4gАй бұрын
@@Mummymunmuggy I was competing in this sport long before onefc existed. In K1 you could clinch and knee once and release. You could not hold the clinch. Otherwise knees are rarely effective and much more dangerous to throw. That was a much better rule.
@MummymunmuggyАй бұрын
@@user-zv8pr4je4g He was holding for longer than that and kept constantly framing with his hands and arms. It's called a clinch.
@user-zv8pr4je4gАй бұрын
@@Mummymunmuggy They clinched constantly and the ref broke them up. As a lifelong Thaiboxer clinching is engrained in his dna. A better ref would've not disrupted the flow and momentum of the fight by penalizing him for framing a clinch. If he would have clinched and kneed then he should definitely lose a point. framing a clinch out of sheer muscle memory but not using it to strike should result in a separation or a yellow card. I've seen more headlocks and clinching in a boxing match

captain should have forfeit.. he could not hang and he clinched nonstop...
This makes me not respect karate the fact they have to handicap Thai boxing.
@MummymunmuggyАй бұрын
They have Muay Thai bouts. If he wants to clinch, fight under that rule set. Kickboxing is for ranged striking. So many casuals in these comments....
@zacterribleАй бұрын
They fought under the same rules though lol

@@Mummymunmuggyso is framing around the head illegal? Even if you don’t put your hands behind his head? Also, what about just a boxing clinch/tie-up and wait for ref to break.. is that also illegal?
