I cannot help but cry for joy when I hear such testimonies! I was a mocker, an atheist. I got out of the Navy and moved far into the mountains to get away from everything so I could party as hard & loud as I wanted. My gf's sister woke us up knocking one Sunday morning after a wild party the night before. I didn't want to let her in because she was a very vocal Christian. Because of my gf, I let her in. She led her sister (my gf) to salvation in Christ, making me very angry. She then came to the livingroom to witness to me. I cussed her out, hoping she would retreat... she didn't. She stood her ground, smiling about Jesus. That evening, she took her sister to church and as she was walking out the door, she handed me a Gospel tract. I used to read Gospel tracts for laughs before tearing them up and throwing them away (to prevent others from believing). But this time I read & understood the Gospel for the first time! I was FLOORED that suddenly I KNEW it was true! God was our Creator, Jesus was His Son (God in the flesh), that He died and rose again, and that salvation (eternal life) was a free gift for repenting & believing! What's funny is that I had to convince the girls when they got home that I had truly, sincerely become a believer while they were gone! They kept saying "stop mocking us!" until I convinced them I was sincere!

Hello, brother ! My name is Angela :). I was raised with the Bible and the gospel, I have been born again I believe, since a very young age. If you're meaning what I think you may be, I wish to encourage you with this : While yet less than 10 years old, I heard about some new believers and how they, like so many are, were full of joy and zeal for the Lord. If that is what you mean, that you think that without a dramatic conversion out of another religion or a life of lots of sin and darkness or something, a conversion at a much older age after years pf living without new life in Christ, then please prayerfully consider doing what I did. I , concerned that I would miss out on this joy and "real" ness feeling, and was maybe too apathetic about my salvation besides, but knowing not what else to do (and of course limited some by my young age and having much life experiences yet), was worried... so I prayed about it, fervently ! I remembered the account of newly- crowned-King Solomon's prayer and prayed similarly for wisdom and growth often, anyways, so now I added this concern to that. And guess what ? God provided for me need, of course ! Especially our spiritual needs, we can be VERY sure God will provide ! Seek and pray and He will grow you through various ways into having just as much of your own joy, zeal and gladness, appreciation of redemption in Yeshua, even if not from out of that same path of darkness as some others. They have their life, we had ours and God is glorified in ALL of our' stories. He can be just as glorified by the ones who received Him as young children and resisted the various temptations to stray along with way. Our path hasn't been easy, either. He gets all the credit, though, of course, for keeping us as much as we were willing to be kept !

I love this! I just came back from Israel. We were there for Sukkot. I took my Mum and my Sister and it was the best experience of my life! I was blessed to meet Christian Palestinians and to hear their stories. To be honest I was challenged by the attitude of some Israeli's. They were not as open as the Arabs and most kept to themselves. But God softened my heart and I remembered the suffering they went through as a people. I thank God that He had put me through some certain experiences to test whether I'm really for Him or against Him. I now have a deeper appreciation and a love for Israel and her people that is no longer blind, just like this gentleman. Another thing, even though I'm Polynesian and I couldn't speak Hebrew or Arabic, I felt like I was home and I count it as a blessing that !God was expecting me and my family, Psalm 22:31. When I visited Israel many years ago our tour guide told us the people of Israel were like prickly pears - thorny on the outside but soft and sweet within. And for anyone who thinks that God chooses some but not others, as in, God fore-ordained some to go to Hell, that they had no chance to be saved, plz read ALL the verses on the subject, prayerfully ! Because, I am convinced - and more so every year - that the over-all-of-it verse " for God is not willing that any should perish, but that all would come to repentance " and " those whom God foreknew, He also predestined " and the verses around Jesus weeping over Jerusalem " ... but they would not " - in all their contexts and with all of the rest of Scripture still in mind, of course- explain it all & with finality ! God "chose" those whom He foreknew would be the ones who chose Him ( were willing to accept Him, accept redemption, surrender to Him and recieve " faith, which a the gift from God " ). Amen !

This kingdom is on earth, where Jesus is going to rule and reign for a thousand years. Those are the promises made to Abraham and David. The gospels are an extension of the old testament. Jesus came to fulfill the promises to the fathers Romans 15:8 Jesus instructed the 12 disciples NOT to go to the gentiles Matthew 10:5-6. As gentiles we was on the outside looking in, God was dealing with Jews only Ephesians 2:12 The Lord called Paul the take the gospel of grace to the gentiles 1 Corinthians 3:10-11 and acts 9:15. Then to add on to all that said did not Jesus say that he came not to kill and destroy, but to seek and save the lost? He doesn't need us to wage war, He will take care of that at the end of the tribulation, revalation 19:15. Then the Kingdom is set up and no unbelievers shall enter in, the sheep/goat judgement, which is Luke verse you referenced.

The day i went to search Bible a white light hit going from my forehead to my house door. A sudden flash light when i said " Bible". I went crazy and started searching for Bible. When i started reading Bible all things made sense and i got all my answers. Eversince i am proud Christian now loved by God of Heaven who has chosen me though i am a sinner. He revealed His SON YAHSHUA to me. Now i know who the REAL God is. The God of Israel is now my God too.... To All : JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY WAY to HEAVEN.
