Did anybody else see flashes of Robert DiNero in this gentleman? I loved this story, and I loved the sense of humor. There are two points that I came away from this with: first, I think that folks like myself who are gentiles and were raised Christian need to repent of the anti-semitism, whether passive, active, etc., that has existed in many of our cultures. If we truly follow Jesus, we need to love. We need to make ourselves known as His followers by the love we show. We have not always done that, as attested by the long and tragic history of anti-semititic violence and scapegoating of the very people through whom God revealed Himself, and among whom He lived. Second, it is amazing to me how we take for granted that we can just talk to God and He's cool with that. In Judaism, the veil is not torn down, and so it surprised me a little to see how many folks felt strange about personal prayer or who hadn't experienced it, but it makes sense. I guess I mention these things just to share some love and respect and also to try and understand the world from a perspective that is different from my own. All praise and glory be to the God of Israel, and may His love always be upon the children of Abraham, both by birth and by faith.

I love this channel for so many reasons. It is all too wonderful to see Jewish people find Yeshua and find peace. Same for YHWH, who desires it more than anything, if I read the Bible correctly. I also like to hear what Jewish people think of us crazy Christians and the New Covenant. I had NO idea what Jewish folks thought of us, but since every Jewish person I ever met was very nice, it can't be too bad. I used to be pretty ignorant about Jewish people (and EVERYTHING spiritual) myself, and considering how complicated Jewish culture is, I am STILL a bit ignorant. They were very strange, especially the "ultra orthodox" Jewish people, but even as an agnostic, I never saw anything worth hating. If anything, as an adoptee especially, I thought how great it would be to know my ancient heritage and have traditions and such. Anyways, it is wonderful to see Jew and Christian getting along.

so many people are thinkink about perfect rules, who will save everybody. somebody have sabath, somebody is celebrating the sundays, somebody are doing another things. Some people is calling him Jesus, some Jeshua. But I think is no difference. Because we all become brothers and sisters, when we are dedicating our lives to Jesus or Jeshua(whatever). So many mistakes are maded by all christians denominations and Jews. But it is only one thing who saves us. And this thing is Jesus Christ dead on cross for our sins. There is no other rules, who can save us. And doesn't matter you are Catholic, Judaist, Evangelist, Babtist, Orthodox or other kind of God believer. I just want to say, we all are siners, and nobody have better rules to come closer to heaven kingdom, except over Jesus Christ. Amen.

Many that are first will be last, and they that are last will be the first! The Lord's Word is alive to this day that the Jews [the first people to whom the gospel was preached] are [at least] becoming the last to believe in the gospel. The prophet Zechariah has foretold that 10 people of all nations....Zechariah 8: 23, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

Because of what was written around 5:50 onwards, this is a terrific witness to Jesus' words found in Mark 8:34-35, 'Then Jesus called the crowd to Him along with His disciples, and He told them, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and for the gospel will save it."' And hooray for the witness described in the video from 4:20 - 4:45. Shows the words of Pope Benedict XVI are true, 'The Church does not engage in proselytism. Instead, she grows by “attraction”: just as Christ “draws all to himself” by the power of his love, culminating in the sacrifice of the Cross, so the Church fulfils her mission to the extent that, in union with Christ, she accomplishes every one of her works in spiritual and practical imitation of the love of her Lord.

2 Nephi 29: But behold, there shall be many-at that day when I shall proceed to do a marvelous work among them, that I may remember my covenants which I have made unto the children of men, that I may set my hand again the second time to recover my people, which are of the house of Israel; 2 And also, that I may remember the promises which I have made unto thee, Nephi, and also unto thy father, that I would remember your seed; and that the words of your seed should proceed forth out of my mouth unto your seed; and my words shall hiss forth unto the ends of the earth, for a standard unto my people, which are of the house of Israel; 3 And because my words shall hiss forth-many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible. 4 But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people. And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles? 5 O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them. But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people. 6 Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews? 7 Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth? 8 Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another. And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also. 9 And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever. 10 Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written. 11 For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written. 12 For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it. 13 And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews. 14 And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one. And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed forever. lds.org

The Vatican had an understanding with the Nazi party. In case Hitler won they would have an agreement in place. However, some Catholics didn't agree with their poope and saved some of the Jews. But it was not the view of the Catholic church. They were willing to sell the Jews if it profited them.

John 6, 51 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.” 52 Then the Jews began to argue sharply among themselves, “How can this man give us his flesh to eat?” 53 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day. 55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them

I like these testimonies, but dont like how they seem, many of them, to indirectly bash at other Christians. I can only hope that those who evangelise Jews will never teach them to hate other believers in Jesus. It seems in America, at lot of you guys are warring against each other. I think the devil has a blast, looking at it. From where comes the need to, for instance, critizise Christian art in other groups than your own, art that has been around for all of church history? Its petty. Do you think a Catholic thinks a small silver crucifix is the living God in person? Come on guys. These arts were used within the last 18-1900 years to meditate on the passion and love of Jesus. Why see evil where there is none? Jesus' last prayer is that we all be one, so that the world will believe because they see our love for one another. But American Christians, especially in free churches, they often slander other Christians as a part of their identity, and even spread this division to other continents. This has to stop.

It is very dificult for a Nun to know Jesus. They think that suffering brings them closer to GOD. Even near imposible for a Cloistered Nun who arises from her casket and is locked away in a cell, sleep deprived, awoken in the middle of the night for repetitious meaningless prayer, or by a drunk horny Priest who rapes her weakened body, over worked, fed her bread by weight never being satisfied, hung by her thumbs in the darkness for saying no to any request of her Mother Superior, and eventually dying in a cesspool pit under the Convent. These women who enter therein to find GOD are driven from GOD by the Catholic Cultist. They begin to think GOD is just a statue that does not care or cannot hear. After a lifetime of such bondage they curse GOD and seek death.

Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unfallen humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. Jesus paid for all the sins of all the world at the cross (past, present, and future). That payment is put to your account when you have believed on Christ alone for salvation. The only reason anyone will ever be in Heaven is solely by the shed blood, death, burial, and resurrection, of Jesus Christ alone. Anything added or subtracted from this is another gospel. Our good works, repenting of sins, and obedience, are solely for rewards in Heaven or a lack thereof and have absolutely nothing to do with salvation at all.

I love these testimonies but I can't help but notice how the messianic Jewish movement has inherited the anti-catholic sentiment from its protestant background. The Catholic church is a Jewish church founded by Jesus and the 12 apostles. As Christians we shouldn't speak against each other constantly.
@Valkyria474 жыл бұрын

The Messianic Jewish/Christian faith and Christian church was spread to the world by the Apostles/Disciples, *but not necessarily one specific denomination.* Catholic doctrine claims it was founded on 'Saint Peter' "who is according to Catholic doctrine the first pope" (who didn't live quite as lavishly as the current pope). But no the Christian church was founded on the confession of Jesus Christ as the Son of God, being spread by the Apostles and Disciples of Jesus around the world. There are many reasons we as Christians and Messianic Jews do not accept or encourage others to involve themselves in the Catholic Church. Some call the Catholic doctrine a cult as it has shifted from solely authentic scriptural practice to include things that are not biblical. That is why Martin Luther hammered a list of 95 theses outlining false heretical Catholic teachings to the door of a Catholic Cathedral. *1. Statues and images* It says you shall not make a graven image of God and bow down to it. That is what happens often regardless of whether it is believed to be "Jesus" who was Jewish and wouldn't have even look like that or the Virgin Mary who was also Jewish and wouldn't have looked like that. Doing that is a pagan practice and not much better than people who straight up worship idols. You'll never see an image of what is supposed to be Jesus or the Virgin Mary (she was married and after Jesus was born had other children with her husband Joesph), in a Christian Church ⛪️ or Synagogue 🕍 whether messianic or rabbinic. There won't be any at all. Why? Because the Lord says in the Tanakh and again in the NT not to. *2. Praying to other gods or beings that are not God* A true Holy Spirit filled Christian would never ever pray Hail Marys and pray to Mary. Yes she was a virgin when she gave birth to Jesus *it was not because she was divine, only because Jesus is divine.* It says in the Word the only mediator between us and the Father is Jesus. Not any saint, any priest, 'father' or 'sister'. “For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,” I Timothy 2:5 NKJV “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,” Romans 8:16 NKJV “Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans 8:27 NKJV The thought that they as deceased people can hear your prayers, assumes they are transcendent (can be accessed as a higher power), are omnipotent (all knowing how else can they hear you?) and omnipresent (because many people in different regions and countries pray to them at the same time and believe they are interceding)... These are divine attributes and hence this elevates them to being in the place and position of God or a god, which they are not. In scripture we are all identified as Saints being Holy Ghost filled followers of Christ, it doesn't matter who some priest/bishop etc.. deems in their mind to be worthy enough to be one. 3. Jesus is alive why is he on a cross still? That makes no sense Jesus has risen and that's why you'll never see a Christian portrayal of the Crucifix/Cross with a shrivelled up, European man, completely batted and bruised on a cross. Jesus conquered the grave!! Catholic crucifixes make the Messiah look like He died and stayed dead. Romans introduced pagan practices into their churches why? Because Romans were originally pagan, and people tend to want to serve and worship God how they want to and from what they know, not how He actually says. 4. Why should I have to tell some random priest my sins? No one can forgive sins but God alone. Further no one can claim you are forgiven of your sins unless it is in Jesus name in alignment with the Word of God. If I confess, repent wholeheartedly to the Lord and trust in Jesus why do I need to go to confession? I don't. The Holy Spirit transforms and changes a person not necessarily talking to a priest and telling them what I did, it's not really between them, me and God, it's between me and God. It seems like it also allows room for priests who are dodgy (of course it's not the majority), to act or say inappropriate things, because they would be able to blackmail you and threaten to expose your sins. Of course going to a Holy Spirit filled true Christian believer and seeking their help and guidance is one thing , but it's the Lord that forgives and sets one free. The Holy Spirit is our helper, it's not necessary for me to be obligated to tell some priest my sins in order to be forgiven. He is not God. 5. The Apocryphal books are not canon. They shouldn't be in a Christian bible at all. Yeah maybe as a outside source sure for reference but not included as though they are 100% Holy Spirit filled. 6. Rigid Religious tradition in Catholic Churches I've been to is in practice valued, over actual relationship with Christ. Not everywhere or everyone of course but amongst people I know (family and friends) who are Catholic, it's about religious tradition not necessarily relationship. As in people will be like I go to Mass sometimes, I only eat seafood on Good Friday, I pray to this saint and that saint, so on and so forth. But do they have a relationship with Christ? No. Do they want too? I don't know. Are they HS filled? No. The Catholic Church has a lot of power so to think, everyone, especially the higher ups' intention is solely about following and trusting in the Lord Jesus is in my opinion a little naive and wishful thinking. That's why even as true Christians we test the words of people who claim to be Men or Women of God, call themselves 'Pastors, evangelists, apostles, teachers of the word and Prophets, just like it says in scripture to test everything against the Word of God and see the fruit of a persons life. A true Christian according to God's Word will bear good fruit. We Christians tend be more more likely to do that. I don't personally know any Catholics, who even really read the Bible. 7. I have not seen any Catholics functioning in any of the 9 gifts of the Spirit. ( I.e. Healing, speaking in tongues, interpretation of tongues etc...) I haven't even personally heard of any that do... Not one. It says signs and wonders will follow all who believe in Jesus. There is Power in His name. 8. The Pope is not God's sole divinely appointed representative on earth. *Actually, We all are.* He is treated like a King, when the actual King of Kings Jesus Christ was persecuted and hated. It should in my opinion, concern Catholics that if this man is a true follower of Christ why is he loved so much by the masses? He shouldn't be. They don't hate him for his faith or hate his faith. According to Jesus' Words not mine this shouldn't be the case. He doesn't direct people to scripture and would rather speak that the Word of God must change to suit the world not the other way around. God is eternal and never changes His Word. He certainly would not change it for a man who is a sinner like everyone else, and claims to represent Him on this earth. Psalm 118:89 Your word, O LORD is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens. Jesus Himself said *you will be persecuted and hated because of me* but apparently as a sinner the Pope is liked more then our Messiah who is complete perfection. *9. Purgatory.* That is straight up not biblical at all. There is absolutely no scriptural basis for that, and no explanation other than there are priests/bishops etc.. of the Catholic Church who made up a reason to guilt people into giving them money, whether or not those people could afford it. The bible says the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil, so that is why I suppose. These are just few of the issues we have with the Catholic Church and with Catholic doctrine, that we deduce as unbiblical, heretical and wrong. Messianic Jews and Christians we are in the same boat. Once again we are not against Catholics we love all of you as we do everyone, but the Catholic Church holds views and the above are just a couple that are opposite to scripture.
