A 5 mile circular walk from Onehouse in Suffolk to Great Finborough taking in 2 pubs and 2 churches and also the grave of TV and Radio broadcaster John Peel.

Completed this one with my wife and 2 daughters this morning. A bit muddy and a few protest from the kids but a lovely walk. We’re working through your back catalogue of walks each weekend since we’ve discovered you.

This makes me happy! 😀 I love the thought of folks discovering new footpaths as a result of the videos. I’d forgotten this one, but I remember us discovering that the book was more than 10 years out of date! Probably a bit more mud for you guys than the frosty day we did it! 🙂

Hello, Could you tell me which guidebook you used for this walk please?

It was called “Pub Walks in Suffolk” by Jean & Geoff Pratt. HOWEVER... it was hopelessly out of date as it was published 24 years ago. Lots of things it uses a reference points no longer exist. But you could successfully use it as a starting point but sketch out the walk on a current map before you set off. Unless you like chaotic adventures like us! 😂👍
