ABOUT THE SPEAKER -
Mufti Ismail Menk of Zimbabwe commenced hifz at the tender age of nine years and completed at the age of twelve. He studied Arabic, Urdu and the Hanafi Mazhab from a young age with his father Maulana Musa Menk who graduated in Mazahirul Uloom Shahjahanpur under Hazrat Shaikh Maulana Zakaria (Rahmatullahi Alaihi) in the late 1950's.
Having studied the Hanafi Mazhab he then went on to study at the Islamic University of Madinah where he completed a degree in Shariah on the four Mazhabs. Thereafter he joined the Iftah (Mufti) department of Darul Uloom Kantaria in Gujarat, India where he graduated under Mufti Ismail Barkodrah at the end of 1999.
Ever since he has been actively engaged in teaching, lecturing country wide, running of Islamic educational institutes for the under privileged as well as the orphans, construction of Masajid and Madaris, relief work and coordinated dawaah country wide.

Once ‘Umar (Radhiyallahu ‘Anhu) was sitting with his companions when all of a sudden he started to laugh after which he began to cry. Those around him asked him, “What made you laugh after which you cried?” He replied,” During the days of Jāhiliyyah (ignorance), we usedgrave to make idols out of dates which we would worship and when we would get hungry we would eat them! Remembering this made me laugh. As for my crying, one day, I took my daughter to a field to bury her alive. As I was digging the grave, some dust fell on my beard. My daughter saw this and wiped the dust off my beard. Remembering this made me cry.”

Assalamou Alaikoum, no my dear, even in jahaliyya, Umar (RA) never buried his daughter alive, cause Hafsa bint Umar, one of Prophet Muhammad's (SAW) wife, was born about 5 years before the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) received revelation, even his other daughter, previously named as Asiya, whom the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) changed the name to jameela, was also born during jahaliyya.. So this is baseless.. And if during that time Umar (RA) felt pity for Rabiya(RA), while he wasn't even a revert yet, it's not compatible with burying his own daughter alive..

I'm not sure about Umar. Bukhari Volume 7, Book 70, Number 573 - The Prophet said, “Come, let me write for you a statement after which you will not go astray.” ‘Umar said, “The Prophet is seriously ill and you have the Qur’an; so the Book of Allah is enough for us.” So why should I listen to Umar when he went against the prophet?

Umar ibn al khattab r.a was guided by Ali ibn abi talib r.a for many things in khalifat also ali ibn abu talib r.a is the one who suggested to made the hijri calendar also whenever abu bakr and umar r.a.needed some knowledge they always call ali ibn abu talib and also they both agree and execute the suggestions of ali ibn abu talib r.a i have readed many of hadith where both had accepted the suggestions and guidance of ali ibn abu talib r.a

He said I'll kill anyone who says it.. Is it even a way you behave.. He wants to kill any sahaba just for that.. Isn't that a sign of a person who is more of emotional than of principles.

@Malcom X Fadek was not given to ahlul bayt by the caliphates, abu bakr did not give fadak back, fadak wasn't an inheritance yes, but the prophet (s.w.w.a.s) gave it to fatimat al zahra(as). muawiyah tried killing imam al hassan, he tried killing imam ali (as), why would someone who's trying to kill you give you money. also just because imam ali wasn't mentioned in the quran by name, doesn't mean that he wasn't in the quran, for example the story of the cave, where does it say that abu baker went with the prophet? he isn't mentioned by name but we know it's him because of tafseer, the battle of the camel was because asyshia wanted justice for uthman and blamed imam ali for not finding the killers of uthman. then tell me, someone who wants to find the killers of uthman is the same person who said they want him dead. listen i have no issue with your beliefs, but why lie?

@@abbashussain9970 brother you need to understand better... Omar Ibn khattab (PBUH) was a shot tempered man. But that doesn't make him bad. He wanted to fight the Mushriks. He repeated his question 3 times and he later in his heart felt that I shouldn't have asked the question repeatedly. And later Surah Fateh was revealed. Had he done something wrong Prophet Muhammad (SAW) would have known... He was very beloved to our Prophet. Yes he did say that he would kill the person who says that our Prophet is dead. And that was just because he loved our Prophet very much and couldn't take the pain. Being short tempered doesn't make someone bad. Even Prophet Musa (AS) was short tempered. People like you mingle his words and try to present it in a very bad way... But Allah Knows how he will deal with people who disrespects his loved ones.

@Umer Ahsan well that's a zaeef hadees but let's just consider it to be true.. Then can you tell me any of his unique Qualities that showed up during the life of phophet (pbuh)...and if its about Moula ali, we all can count alot like his bravery in all the ghazwas and his knowledge.
