I’m already starting to think Wober should be our permanent left back. He put an absolute shift in. He was unlucky with the OG really but otherwise a brilliant performance. His defensive solidity is a breath of fresh air. Rothwell, Tanaka, Byram and Dan James of course were all phenomenal. The subs worked quite well, and Farke had a solid game plan. Joseph was terrible today, however I do understand your point, I believe he makes the defenders work hard and makes them tired, swap piroe on 60/70th minute and he can bag some goals. Start Joseph sub piroe on.

Completely agree. Was at the game tonight and Joseph stuck out like a sore thumb. He just didn’t seem interested. No real desire for the ball when we were in possession, poor first touch, aimlessly jogging around with no endeavour to win the ball back during a press. Joseph’s hold up play and lay off we’re mostly quite good buy his finishing and runs in front or behind defenders was poor. That’s one aspect where Piroe is better. I do think Joseph will get there but needs alot of patience as he learns his trade

Joseph was bad Conor his touch was really bad . He should have scored 2 great chances one where he should have used his left foot but went sideways to use his right foot. It was harder movement to score with his right than left foot. There's great chances across that box Conor and he should be at least there.

I don't know if it's about not having the vision, because that through ball he slide in on goal to Joseph(I believe), a no look pass through in between 2 defendere while dribbling to his right, was sublime. It's a shame it was a hair too long, but the vision to see the run and to pull it off while dribbling away from where he passed the ball shows his capacity to be a 10, the consistency is just not there yet

Joseph was pivotal for the first goal with his last line running that he always does. He needs to finish, yes, but he causes so many problems for defenders and it’s clear that starting him was the right choice. @ to say he’s dog shite is not only a huge overreaction but also wrong. His runs wee fantastic. He ran the defence ragged and he was creating space. Yes he needs to work on his finishing absolutely, and he looked like he lacked a bit of sharpness but he’s barely had any minutes for three games. He’s still a young lad let’s be a bit more patient with our players yeah? This isn’t FIFA. It worked perfectly to start Joseph and bring Piroe in later as he worked his magic later in the game when the defender was tired
