This is amazing! I would love if you upload something about the mastering process. Thank you for this One Mic series!

That's a bit hard because each recording poses it's own challenges but I will give it a try.

I see theres no problem having both bass sources opposite to each other, but, just wondering... wouldn´t they be better coming from from the same direction? Positive cycles add up. Just wondering... this series got me amazed of how spectacular it sounds

It would only be a potential issue if the sources were identical.

Wouldn’t it be interesting if both recording 😅methods can be recorded at the same time to different DAW, one stereo mic vs multiple closed microphones. We can compare both.

It's not so much one mic vs many mics. It's the process of self balance, one complete take, no overdubs, fixes or mixing.

I am so amazed by your work. Really wonderful. Your videos are what convinced us to get an R88. Can I ask how you routed the headphones for monitoring? Thank you!

The signal from the preamp went to Pro Tools directly then back to the studio's API console. From there I did a bit of EQ and fed the headphone fold-back to the studio like we would any recording session.

Hi. Just curious how you get the Millennia preamp into the computer/ProTools. Which interface or converter? Thanks.
