Here in asia, you can get the monitor 60 and monitor 80 around 40 usd which is a steal. Store is Lazada and Shopee but I am not sure if they ship outside asia

@@maveferdykrueger2899 to be fair, mine broke after two years and I have quite a big head, it's more annoying that it's irreparable. For a $100 headphone, I feel like OneOdio should have redesigned the hinge.

I have a narrow head and many open back headphones don't have that flat resting position for some reason. I'm used to how m50x's sit on my head and want something that feels similar, but has a more open soundstage. I've been using akg k240's for this purpose, but I find them uncomfortable and they just barely seal when I changed to thicker pads. I think I might get these ones.

For that price probably best to just get ATHM40x ?
@satkotech2 жыл бұрын
I've been thinking about that too. In my country, the ATH-M40x are 150 euro, and these are 100. The reason I'm still considering these over the Audio-Technica is the open-back and 250 Ohms impedance. Which theoretically should be much better than the ATH-M40x as they are closed-back and 35 ohms. I also understand that specs aren't always everything, and quality can vary immensely. I guess I'll wait for a couple of months and see what more people think of the Monitor 80, as more people get them and compare them to other higher-priced phones.

oneodio imho is one of the best companies for the price and the features. you can use both jacks at the same time and reference one to use as a monitor for the other (for recording, practice, and tracking purposes) I don't know too many other headphone companies that make them with two jacks and you typically have to spend over 100 dollars just to look for a pair with those features. plus the bass makes it easy to do a nice, full on mix. a lot of cheap tablets cut at a lower bass frequency that makes good remasters sound good for people who have no choice but to afford those devices or simply to reference that particular sound. probably going to buy this pair and keep the oneodio pro 50s for my ekit because they sound absolutely wonderful on them regardless, like they make them sound like a real drum kit and I hear exactly how I want it mixed. This means maximum immersion in whatever game you are playing and not too much guesswork with spectrum analysis and eq'ing. hope this helps..

Good review. Earlier bought oneodio pro M with Bluetooth and 3.5mm boom microphone. Bluetooth is working fine but the boom microphone with 3.5 mm always has built-in noise during teleconference. Asked customer service without any response. Eventually move to EKSA E900 pro and Creative SXFI Gamer both support USB type C to solve the noise issue.

Update to my review somewhere on YT, you already know build feels fragile, but interior is a bit better. Unlike my owned dt990pro 250ohm, this one can take 24W easily for theater like volume. It's not without some small hitting noises at few frequencies, what you can hear when low bass and no heights play, like with dub genre, but dt990 250 couldn't even play those. There are highs, lows are flat, but its not hurting, comparing to in ear tin p1/2. 1 more thing, connection in 3.5mm jack hole is not stable in headphone, not sure what it is, but its not unusable, there is even 6.3mm jack, I guess quality adapter changing it to 3.5mm would save the stability of connection(i did not try tho, i dont move much when watching, when there is slight correction needed its done fast, only 2 times happened when watching movie, I don't have quality 6.3 to 3.5 anyway lol). For that price, compared to 990, I enjoy it more... hopefully nxt gen is more quality build, better frequency response and without distortion at 140dB.

Is that true even for this model which is MSRP of $100? I know the ones they sell for 30 bucks have a flimsy build quality but that's basically true of any headphones at that price. Koss etc ...
