Oneonta: The Community

Introducing Oneonta, NY, a friendly, picturesque college town with a population of about 14,000 and a genuine sense of community.
Students love the natural beauty of the “City of the Hills,” which offers plenty of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, cross-country skiing and other outdoor activities throughout the four seasons.
Within walking distance or a free bus ride from campus is the city’s friendly Main Street, with a variety of locally owned shops and restaurants including at least two pizzerias that have served up a famous Oneonta staple-cold-cheese pizza-for decades.

I love this. I graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 1969 and have been back several times since then. It keeps getting better!

Albany, it is 70 miles away. I don't recommend coming here it is an absolute garbage hole. Everything this person says is just garbage propaganda from that garbage college to try and get more money. I especially do not recommend it if you are a minority, there are a huge amount of racist people all over this place.

came here because I am scrubbing out of this area for sales today and I did not know how the locals pronounced Oneonta. If you are a realtor PICKUP THE PHONE and make sure to say yes to me! I got some quality leads to sell you, best in the game hands down
