Hi Ben, this was such a well produced video. So excellent. Thank you for sharing your experience. I really love this phone, and I dont mind its quirks, i like teh price, its a flagship, the ui, the smooth response. its really good. PLUS IT COMES WITH A FREAKIN ULTRA FAST CHARGER. I knw different regions have different wattages, but even 50 watts is really faast. Not the 20watts of some companies I shall not mention.

That was my first time seeing a vid from you. I was very impressed by your honest and very detailed review of the cameras. Very fresh take. I feel like most KZbin Reviewers hate on the Oneplus 10 pro bc "it's not STOCK android anymore." But for the average to average techy person, stock doesnt always mean better. I think having some extras sprinkled in is always a good thing! The Pixel is a bit too bland for me. Very well done video my friend!

Hey Ben! Thanks for the review. I have two questions if I may: does it switch to the telephoto when you zoom in 4k or FullHD video? I remember the 9 Pro didn't. The second one is: how is the selfie camera in video? I l know it doesn't record in 4K, but does it flash badly in backlit scenes or it's got decent HDR? Thanks for your high quality work, sir!

Hi Paolo! Sorry I didn’t cover these aspects in video. So, sadly, the phone still does NOT switch to telephoto for zoom mid video. It’s all digital zoom that maxes out at 10x. Selfie video is fine. But yes it doesn’t handle backlight as well as the s22 ultra or iPhone 13. I will have a written article at xda developers in a couple of days where I will include selfie videos.

I didn’t notice heating issues at all. But it’s becUse OnePlus throttles the snapdragon 8 gen 1 a bit. It doesn’t run at as peak performance as the xiaomi 12 pro or s22 ultra. But to be honest I don’t really notice the throttle

Excellent outdoor shoot..also Ben, I think that oneplus is loosing grip..did you see jerryrig video on 10 plus how it got that worst build quality.. ? Secondly the iphone 12 5g retails at around 700 dollars on amazon india ..one can save another 60 to 70 dollars on offers.. iphone is really penetrating the market in that segment..so one plus really has to improve build quality to justify that price atleast..

i think the huawei p50 pro has a better camera but i like the oneplus 10 pro better. i like oxygenOS much better than EMUI, and the inability to use google makes it VERY VERY hard for me to use. it's unfortunately cause it's not huawei's fault.
