@Jthall1990 It's been good. I'd definitely recommend it for anybody looking for a good "bang for buck" phone. I haven't used any of the Nothing phones so I can't compare it from personal experience all I have to compare it to is the previous OnePlus devices I've owned and my friends devices which are mostly Google Pixels and Samsung's. It does however have a significantly weak camera. I think that's something OnePlus has failed to adequately address over the years so it's definitely behind most brands in that aspect especially at the high end. But I think as a flagship killer it stands out in its own right. It's been buttery smooth in use and I got a good case for it as well. The battery is really good and OxygenOS is it's usual self. Coz it definitely gives flagship specs at a fraction of the price so it's up to you if you would want to top up the money and just get one of the flagships like the Samsung top range, Google Pixel top range, Vivo top range etc or just take the savings and join the OnePlus 12 fam.

@@Blakendp83 I felt that moving from a OnePlus 8 pro was a bit of a downgrade to the Pixel 7 Pro, however at the time Oxygen OS had become very buggy and the whole experience of my OnePlus 8 Pro had tanked. The Pixel 7 Pro has many flaws. The battery life and charging speed are a killer for me. I seldom leave my phone in place for too long, so fast charging is a must. Also you can tell the processor isn't very powerful when doing any form of photo manipulation. It takes time to edit images. File browsing is also very slow. Vanilla Android is very much a hit and miss. I'm not a huge camera person, although the video and photo quality is decent on the Pixel I believe it's more software manipulation than anything else. I suspect if OnePlus wanted they could just use the same techniques as Google and get similar results. It's phone season! Nice to see 1+ upped their game this year. Going to wait and see what the Magic 6 Pro brings as well but have to say the S24 Ultra looks like a beast mode phone. Seriously thinking of replacing my pixel 8Pro with one of the above
@davit20s11 ай бұрын
The price is a bit high, but as there is a discount for the preorder for 16+512, it's a good deal. I would like to buy S24 ultra, but the price for me is too high. OnePlus gives you almost the same quality and features as Samsung, anyway after a few years you have to change your phone. Waiting for the delivery to see in real life how it fits to me. Watched a few reviews before ordering.
@jordanjackson88736 ай бұрын
@davit20s can't really say that. One Plus doesn't have Dex, Good Lock, or the exclusive UI features throughout their ecosystem. You get to customization that's pretty similar, but even that's a stretch. Not to mention a better update schedule, with more refined polished updates for improvement. It also has better battery life despite the OP having dual batteries. I've gotten 21 hours of solid battery life out of my s24+ and still had almost 20% left over. Mind you, it had my screen on time clocked at 9 hours and some change.

@wakaflockaproject Lmao, no. Better screen, better battery life(21 hours of battery and 9 hours of screen on time in a single day with 18% battery remaining), still get Samsung Dex, still get an overclocked snapdragon 8 gen 3 chipset, still get Good Lock, still got 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB on a free storage upgrade, etc. The OP+ just wins with charging speed and 16 GB of RAM. IR blasters are cool ig but very niche since I still have screen mirroring, Dex, and smart things. It has a better form factor, better set up, better color options, and the camera is undoubtedly better. The OP 12 is overrated, and people only brag about its on sheet specs.

Love the price. I have the Oneplus open and love it. Between the open and the new 12 with that fantastic price.....Oneplus is definitely back! Love it. Nothing phone is straight garbage compared to one plus now. Between the 2 devices they provide they don't need carl. Just wish they would stop with the curves screen garbage. Flat screen all the way. You are incorrect. Most people prefer flat screen not curved. Curved make it horrible for tempered glass screen protector . what's up with the throttling? there one plus 12 has the largest vapor chamber on any phone ever.... I feel like it's the app that is not optimized for the one plus. Not the phone.
@Renovatio211 ай бұрын
The zoomed photo of the guitar shop window looked clearly superior on the One Plus 12 compared to the S24 Ultra. Which is a bit disappointing as I'm about to take delivery of an S24 Ultra in about 20 minutes. Still its early days and Samsung do say a camera fix is in the works. Then again here in Ireland the OnePlus12 costs €949 for the 12gb 256gb or €999 for the 16gb 512gb (no brainer, spend the €50) with free Buds Pro 2 tws which works out about the same as the S24 Ultra 512gb once Samsungs discounts and free Galaxy Watch 6 are factored in. Competition is good.

And there is a $30 coupon code floating around that brings it down further. $669 when you add it all up is just a bonkers price for this thing. And it comes with a charger, too. How is the telephone sound quality both regular and speakerphone? I'm weird - I use my phone mainly as a phone. I bought and then returned the S24 Ultra because the sound quality was so inferior to the old Note 9 that I had been using - and am now using again. The 24U sounded tinny and too low and the volume control didn't always work. I did much prefer the flat screen and I wld really like a expandable memory and a earphone jack, especially the memory. @vaultboy141910 ай бұрын
As a reviewer you have to compare the uncomparable, so you can justify saying the more expensive phone is better at the end. Still it's pretty funny it that it percievably competes with a much more expensive phone and even wins in some areas, while a phone that is it's equal (S24 Plus) is completely obliterated by it. Comparison just for the sake of comparing more/less expensive, crap review.

At the time you were explaining about the display reflections. You should have kept the same wallpapers on both the phones. Samsung had a darker (green) wallpaper, contrasting the apps and giving out a clearer image. On the other hand OnePlus had a lighter (white-blue) wallpaper, that did not contrast the apps on the home screen making it much harder to see the apps.
