I have OnePlus 12 no issues till now. I don't think the green line will appear as they switched from samsung display to BOE display. I don't know about the motherboard issue in future. So far it's a very good device. Software is very smooth, some bugs with new updates but still its manageable. My friend has an iphone 15. I don't like it as it has a 60hz display which feels very choppy for me. It lacks zoom lens which is very useful in some conditions though it has good camera quality. I will recommend OnePlus 12. Its all rounder phone. If your main priority is camera then go for iphone and consider 256gb minimum.

@@harshavardhan7054 OnePlus 12 won't disappoint you as there is not much difference. Night photography is better in OnePlus. Portrait photos using periscope lens are better than iphone, details in wide angle is better in OnePlus. Iphone is close to natural colours OnePlus is also close to natural but not at the level of iphone ( you know chinese stuffss...). i personally like OnePlus. That periscope lens matters to me. It's overall good package. Also there is one point (if it matters to you) there will be no apple intelligence for iphone 15 non pro models and older iphones. And OnePlus will be getting ai features with android 15 update.

How is it that after spending this much money on a top-tier phone, we're dealing with motherboard failures right after a software update? @OnePlus_IN, answer this-why should we trust you if a simple update ruins our phones? You promised 4 years of security updates, but what’s the use if updating our phones bricks them? I want fast service NOW, and if parts aren't available, I refuse to wait for over 15 days. I’m calling on the government to take immediate action for consumers. We need a central body, like SEBI in the stock market, to protect us from such incidents. Who is looking out for us? This is a matter of serious concern for ALL OnePlus users. Let’s unite and demand better!

Absolutely unacceptable! Yesterday evening, I updated my OnePlus 12's software, and within minutes of using it, the phone switched off with a beep sound and never turned back on. This is supposed to be a flagship device, yet it failed after only 7-8 months! Today, I visited the Park Street service center, and after waiting for 3 hours, they confirmed there was NO physical or liquid damage, yet they still want to check again for liquid damage! Why? We already mutually agreed there was none. They warned me my data could get compromised, and it’ll take 2-3 days for a resolution, maybe more than 15 days if parts aren't available. This is beyond slow service, and I demand to know who will compensate for my losses during this time? I had to sign several forms with a bunch of terms and conditions, but OnePlus must take FULL responsibility for this mess. You’re selling a premium product for 70k, and this is the level of service? Completely unacceptable! And I’m not alone. Many customers at the service center were complaining about similar issues, like the green line problem-some have visited FOUR times in THREE months!
