Hey Mark...i bought the 12 a few weeks ago for £649 here in the UK on a black Friday deal.. This phone is so good. Battery is outstanding, almost 7 hrs SOT with over 2 days between charges..UI is incredibly smooth and running android 15.. Camera is excellent. Produces photos way above it's price point and the mastermode just offers something different.. got the aramid fibre one plus case and it makes it look super smart.. Hi this is a review from a oneplus user, i bought oneplus 12 with my own money, i was a 1st yr student at that time and was working part-time with college and a bunch of different stuff after a lot of hard work i bought that phone and honestly i was the best decision of the year by far but i recently lost it while riding bike and the person who picked it up, effortlessly switched off my phone and removed the sim card and after all the complaints and FIRs to police im still unable to get my phone back, now im using a cheap 120$ phone which lags a lot and honestly it makes me miss my oneplus the most but i wish oneplus could introduce an e sim tech and improved their security related to sim removal and settings toggle while the phone was switched off and if only if companies could develop a chipset which could work independently upon battery and could give it's tracking info to police so that it's trackable with IMEI 😭 honestly it was the most special thing i bought to gift myself for the hardwork, god please get me my phone back

​​@@MarksTech yes, one tip I can give to all is, please y'all go for phones that have an e sim, so that you have a slight chance to get in back within 3-4 hours because, some people sell the phone part individually to dodge police

The slippery back is virtually the only reason for me to change Oneplus 12 for a Oneplus 13. My 13 is on the way from China. My wife already has a Oneplus 13 in began blue. It's great in every way 😊😊😊

I've been using OnePlus 12 since February 4 and damn this is a beast Only 4 percent of the Battery health dropped so far. Battery life is amazing in this device. After Oos 15, cameras gotten better too. Gaming performance never fails to amaze me so good for gaming. Only problem is curved screen and lower IP rating thats all. Other than that this device is a BEAST. 🔥

Had my eye on the Oneplus 12 for awhile. Just done the pre-order on the Oneplus 13, i'm coming from a pixel 6 pro so should be a big upgrade. My pixel has been by far the worst signal i've had on a phone here in the UK. Everything else on that phone has been great though.

Samsung used to have the better unboxing experience . You got decent headphones (AKG) . It sucks now and I agree

I have a OnePlus 11 and I would dare to say that its powerful enough for most people, still super snappy and still great battery life (92% health left and I had it since launch day) I'm looking at the OnePlus 13 but I can't really decide if it's worth it, maybe I should just wait for the 14 🤔

Mark , i dig your channel and wish you happy holidays! As oneplus 7tpro McLaren 5G flag waver ( best ever), i have since pivoted away from all Chinese phones even if better than my Samsung. It's economic politics and protest to the spying,hacking , maleware problems ruining the industry. The us government can do what the want. Im fine with that. I'd like your take / response on how wise it is to buy a great camera at the expense of my phones security. My phone is a tool. A great camera i can buy separate. Do you feel like its a risk worth taking ?

i have been using LG V60 until I was in Hong Kong in November and Bought Oneplus 13 I did pay more for an unlock service so I can use it in Sydney Australia .. Oneplus 13 does NOT have that good of battery life and doesn't have the best telephoto lens .. I do like using it hope future software update can fix them ..

The OnePlus 12 is still a beast, with one very important warning/caution. It is NOT for those who are new to the Android arena and probably to other OnePlus phones. The lack of meaningful print documentation and accurate KZbin videos is borderline criminal. What good is any device if one cannot find its features, and if/when found, how to use them. "Hunt and tapping" around is not a meaningful way to learn anything. So sad, especially for a device at this price range. (By the way the 204 page Oxygen 14.O OS User Manual available for download is a tease. Several functions are not included. Some functions are just given brief outlines of operation.) Being new to the Android arena, but wanting a phone with great specs; it has been an exercise in frustration in trying to figure out how to make many of its features work. One of many examples...How does one take a video with sound? Making a basic video is simple enough--aim and press button. Want to include sound? Where and how to do it? Can't find how anywhere.

I have1 knock about this phone..Unless they fixed it? The notification bar swiping down from the top has the stupid volume and dim on the far right side and I consantly would hit them with my fingers. I hope they do away with this ..I want to trade my pixel 9 pro for the oneplus 12 and if I have to the OP13.

I'm pondering the same exact thing. Best Buy and the OnePlus website have the OP12 at 650 USD with 16/512. The 13 with the same is gonna be likely about 1000 USD which will put the price at a 50% higher. Is the OP 13 50% better ESPECIALLY with the Android 15 upgrade for the OP12? To me, no despite the 13's upgrades.

This phone has been a ride... I have it since April and even if the system smoothness has gotten better and better the stability is just shit. I just got the last update so let's see if some bugs are fixed or if it is one of the biggest disappointments of the year. Great hardware, a lot of work needed with software.

I'd go with oneplus, switched to s22 ultra (when it was new), from my oneplus 5t, I feel like aside from screen everything was a downgrade, and after two years even though this phone gets the updates, it lags more than I would accept (my op5t started lagging in it's 5th year of heavy use) Everyone praises the s24 ultra (and I have one at home), but let's see how it'll be in two years with its 7 years of updates (I doubt that it'll stay consistently good, I have bugs which have been present since day 1)

@ I will wait and see. Also, if there are AI features, i need to know if there will be a available worldwide or not. Apple, Google and Oppo with Oppo X8 Pro are not able to deliver in different languages since the launch. I live in France and we don't have all text and speech features from Pixel, we don't have from Apple too. I speak portuguese too and Brazilians and Portuguese can't enjoy AI features in Portuguese : it's not normal.

🤔you don't even notice the screen with a case on the same way it was with the S23 Ultra. The phone sits flush with the case giving it a "flat" feel. I say this as someone who use to despise the curved edges until I tried the S23U .
