I got this phone after a ton of research, after being a long time mid range value phone buyer ($500 range), and it has impressed me and many people I show it to over and over. Never lags, huge bright display with great refresh rates, some of the best battery life on the market, nfc, lhdc audio, just perfect experience. I cant imagine wanting anything more. My experience with the phone prompted me to buy the OP watch 2 and the buds 3 and both have also impressed me greatly for my daily heavy use.

I have it.. the 16G ram 256g storage and it works great. I think my only real grip is that good assistant doesnt work with my voice even after i have re-added my voice a few times. All on all a splendid device.

Curious did you ever try to go into the settings and jump into Apps and Force stop Qualcomm voice Assistant and then redo the voice recognition from scratch?

@@CHGadgetz I got it to work. What I did was forced stopped the app, went back into it then allowed it to work with the lock screen on. I also redid my voice for good measure too and it works now.

I switched from pixel 7 pro to 12R.... And Guess what... No more call drops... No more heat.... And Battery I charge Once every 2 days is a beast and Display Way more bright

Yeah I mean that was a big upgrade, the only thing I would want to switch is the Pixel camera to the 12R, but move good choice.

It can't be mid-tear, it's a flagship phone with no wireless charging and a processor from last year that's very power and will still be the coming years
