13R is good phone, But the price could have been lower. 13R and Ace 5 the main difference is 1. 13R has 50 MP telephoto but Ace 5 doesn't have. 2. Ace 5 has 6415 Mah battery, but 13R has 6000 Mah battery. Ace 5 12+256 GB variant priced at 26800 INR ( CNY 2,299) in China without offers which is 4K lower than previous gen 12R/Ace 3. A. 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto maximum price is 3000 INR B. India import duty 10% = 26800(China Price)+3000(50MP telephoto cost max)+10%(import duty) = 32780 INR C. India GST 12% = 32780+12% GST=36713 INR. Actual maximum cost is 36713 INR only, but launched at 43K. If they launched at 37K or under 40K without offers, it's a wow deal🎉..

The flat display is the biggest features IMO. You can slap a 100 rupees fiber-glass screen protector that's good for 6 months in terms of scratches and stays put, being easy to remove without any issues. OnePlus 13 unfortunately requires UV based screen protectors, even their official protector is a UV one.

I have been lifetime one plus fanboy until recently when I switched to S24 Ultra. No matter what the provide/lifetime warranty for screen issue, what people don't understand is how cumbersome and frustrating the entire process is. You have to mandatorily wipe the entire phone and stand in long queue since 10 AM to be able to show the phone to rep by 12-1PM. It takes at the minimum 4-5 days at some centres to get the phone fixed. I think everyone should consider these issues before getting hands on any new OP

My 12R having victus 2 protection falls on asphalt at the height of 1 meter and it dropped on its edge side cracking its display, so no glass can protect your phone 😢. Lesson learned Always go for the flat display no matter what.
