the one that comes with the phone is just a piece of plastic or something, just to prevent scratches, and the one that comes from OnePlus will have curved edges, or one which doesn't have any holes in the glass. So no, it isn't either of those.

It definitely looks like the Rhinoshield impact protection screen protector. It clearly doesn't provide full coverage, and helps this phone stay undamaged. This is a pretty misleading video considering it's using a screen protector.

I'm from India, case, plus oneplus 3 in India comes with 1 year accidental damage cover from drop, water and some other cases, and you only have to way Rs.1000 ($15) and get your display fixed, other than that, nothing to pay. also its a door to door service.. so this cover, plus insurance, i'm good to go till OP5(yup, that's my next upgrade)

I think what did it in at the end wasn't the height, but the angle. All the prior drops were pretty much corner hits. That last one landed more on its face. I'd be interested to see if it would've lasted through similar face hits from the lower heights.

If you look in slow motion you can see that only in the last drop it fell on the screen while the others it fell on a corner, where the protector is. I wonder, what would've been if all drops were done the same way

I feel like the main reason it broke on the 3rd story drop was because it was the only drop where the phone landed almost flat. It immediately rebounded and hit on both sides almost simultaneously unlike previous tests where it hit a corner and bounced. I'm not saying it would have survived a corner hit, but I firmly believe the way it landed did more damage than the height of the drop, But that's just my opinion. Still a cool video.

The trouble with these tests are that a lot depends on how the phone lands. You'd need multiple drops from each height to really prove anything because it makes a big difference if it lands on the screen, the back or one of the corners. On amazon a lot of people say this case doesn't fit snugly or i'd get one.

It would have cracked right on the first drop if you'd have dropped the frontside surface down like the last one instead of leaving the ph vertically. though you did the same in the last drop either but it came to be the facedown somehow.
