Actually, Dash Charge and Super Charge are pretty close. It took the OP6 84 Mins to 100% and the P20 Pro 101 Mins. So now we divide the mAh through the Mins: The OP6 charges an average of 39,2 mAh per Minute. The P20 Pro charges an average of 39,6 mAh per Minute. Both are great and fast technologys, but considering that, they are actually very similar. Which makes actually a lot of sense, since both Charge with around 5V/4-4,5A.

But the Xperia with just 3180 mAH battery can deal the battery to almost reach the life of 4000 mAH battery.. Why Sony slow down the charging method? Because of qnovo adaptive charging for sake of long term battery life.. And I wanna see the result maybe for 4 years in the future about the degradation of XZ2 + P20 P battery..

bunny Thats not how charging works, oneplus is way quicker up untill it's close to full so it doesn't overcharge. If the OnePlus had a 4000 mAh battery it would still be faster

OnePlus uses Dash charge(aka Oppo Vooc Charge) which delivers 18-18.5 Watt output power, while Huawei P20 pro use Super Charge which delivers 22.5 Watt output power. Moreover, Oppo Super Vooc Charge can deliver max 50 Watt output power, and Huawei Super Charge v2 can deliver upto 40 Watt power. These fast charging technologies are great but degrades the batter capacity more quickly as well, and even heat dissipated by battery needs to be kept low, which consumes some power by itself resulting in loss of Watt power.

Quick question, for the XZ2 which plug are you using? I believe they have quick charge 3.0 for certain regions. My XZPREMIUM has QC 3.0 but I'm from the UK. I'm aware other countries also don't have this plug upon unboxing. You should state the specs of each plug for each phone

Sony has it's battery care ... İt charges fast until 60-70% and then it slows down.. faster doesn't mean it's better. On long term you will need to change your batteries on other phones, while Sony's still work like on first day

I love OnePlus but it only won getting to 100% first. The P20 Pro actually charged 3760mAh in the same time it took the OnePlus6 to charge 3300mAh. The P20 Pro is going work for longer between charges.

The reason sony isn't charging as fast as the others is the qnovo technology, which is here to make the battery's lifespan longer. You can disable it and it will be moderately fast as well. Nothing like the oneplus though.
