The battery life is a joke tho but what can I expect from 4 years old phone. I'll be upgrading to OnePlus 7 Pro or Huwaei P30 Pro soon, these two phone have some reputation based on their reviews.

I have the phone and I set the resolution to adaptive instead of always 2k and it seems to work, at least for my usage. I got 44 minutes screen on time and went down to 89% from 96-97% when I unplugged the cable in the morning. With 2k resolution I got 4 hours and 30 minutes while transferring everything from my iPhone with the switch app (the battery usage said 40% of the battery was used by that app for transferring the 50Gb of photos, videos and music). I don't think it is worth watching videos in 1080p instead of 2k for the battery saving, you will get savings from the 60hz switch (the phone switches automatically to 60hz if it plays youtube videos, don't know about other apps).

Oneplus 7 Pro got higher resolution and 50% higher refresh rate which means it has 56,25% more pixels to run at 50% higher refresh rate which at the end counts to 84,375% more pixels displayed at the same time. Still so impressive for Mi 9? It's only 32 minutes difference between them. That shows us how much power GPU and screen combined need in Oneplus 7 Pro.

Yes i do agree the lack of 4K battery is a kill joy, however overall not bad. I think the teardrop notch is the best way to optimize the screen.

This was a good battery endurance test between the phones that were used. Before the test started in the video I was under the impression the One Plus 7 Pro would come in first place for being the newer phone, but it didn't. I also had hopes for the Galaxy S10+ to be first too, but it came in 3rd place which was too bad. At least it beat the One Plus 7 Pro though. Due to the fact that adjustments were made in this video for the battery life test to be conducted, maybe in another video with the same phones used, conducted another test where settings are set at default right outta the box. Only a select few would adjust the resolution, but most will not for general use of the phone.

@@RAW_Reality actually it works perfect on AT&T or T-Mobile. I have the Mi 9 global version and there bands match perfect. Sprint is a no no, Verizon works on some LTE bands but not lower and not LTE everywhere but I did get it to pick up a Verizon LTE band
