Bought the 12/256 variant back in 2020. Got green lines on display 2 times, so finally took decision of selling it in 2023. Other than that, it was actually a great device.

Unfortunately, a lot of tech neophytes didn't care for the 8 series but, I thought it was a step in the right direction. In fact, I just put lineage OS 21 on my 8T and gave it to a friend in need. It's still performs perfectly and the battery holds a charge well. It's a shame that most 8 Siri's phones are running out of updates. Thankfully, there's always custom roms.

Actually, the OnePlus 11 and 12 are the best phones they've ever manufactured. They make the 7Pro look ridiculous. It takes more than a gimmicky pop up camera these days. Furthermore, the 13 is being released globally next month and it's a beast.

​@@Upwards._Agreed, it takes more than a gimmicky pop-up camera these days. Besides, from an engineering standpoint pop-up cameras don't make sense. The moving parts take up far too much real estate that is needed for larger processors and vapor chambers.

I'm still using my OnePlus 6 from 2018 and also then I bought 8 pro and I'm still using it without any issue.. camera is a beast as compared to some of its successors .. 3x optical zoom crazy though.. and still after many years i wash it with tap water sometimes.. 😅.. such a true detailed flagship.. 2½ hrs Pubg Mobile 90 fps with temp 40° .. such an OG Smartphone 🎉❤

You need to calibrate the battery, turn off unknown trackers. Look in connections and turn off looking for printing..it'll make a huge difference in battery life as those services are always looking for devices also turn of NFC if you don't use it.

I have used oneplus open, 8 Pro and 7T Pro. They were really great. But the only thing I didn't like about oneplus is their selfie cameras. Nowadays oneplus is doing great with their foldbables tho

I wanted to buy OnePlus 8 Pro back in 2020 but the shop didn't sell it. I ended up with Poco F2 Pro with pop-up camera & a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The phone still runs well despite OS update ended up with Android 12. I shall replace it with a new phone at the end of next year.

Oh, I had a wonderful journey when I firstly switched from poco f2 pro to used OP7P and later to OP8P. OxygenOS 11 was much faster and smoother than MIUI 12. Cameras were noticeably better too. Ofc they're from different price ranges, but as I remember Poco was rather costly

I wish my Poco f2 Pro was still working. I loved that phone by died and a few years ago. Last real good phone I had with a headphone jack. Moved to the Poco F3, which was solid. Using the Oneplus 11 also like Borshisme. Very happy with it.
