I haven't noticed any deterioration with my orange san francisco with oled display. I've had it for about 6 years and the display is still great.

I think neo3 cuts down frame rate in most parts of the game not because of over heating, but because its os assessed that high frame rate is not necessary based on the pixel activity

Actually neo3 has Snapdragon 855 while OnePlus 8 pro has Snapdragon 865 wich is superior in terms of CPU and GPU performance
