The brightness dimming issue is due to the buggy AOD implementation. Sometimes, when AOD is on at low brightness and we unlock our phone, the display retains the same low brightness of aod. They haven't fixed this issue in a long time. Turning off AOD will fix this.

whats about low brightness in op8 after update to oxygen 12? i tried to update to oxygen 13, no diffrence, downgrade then to oxygen 11 same low brightness. previously year ago i was using 80% brightness and was enough now on 100% is not. yeah fuck this phone already. these updates are a joke and their new oxyg 13

I have a OnePlus Pro and I am experiencing numerous issues. The first problem was a complete screen freeze and doesn't get restarted, and the second issue involved the back panel repeatedly coming loose. After visiting the OnePlus service centre, they assured me they could resolve and fix the problem. Unfortunately, the same issue reappeared after a week. I have been very disappointed with OnePlus.

That issue of 5g sim switching to another one is a feature. It's available on my Nothing Phone 1 and will only happen if you receive a call on another sim & internet is being used by another one.

I have switched to S23+ from 8T and can't say how happy I am with the software and cameras. I got the green line issue on my 8T even without updating, it occurred when i was doing video call on my WhatsApp. It got replaced for free and the next day I bought S23+ in exchange offer for my 8T. I am done with OnePlus as a brand.

I am using OnePlus 8t os13 and call of duty mobile is capped at 60 fps even on ultra. I saved money for a long time to buy this phone for call of duty. We have to raise voice on OnePlus/Oppo to remove the fps cap on their OS.

I think I know why is that the reason. I am on custom rom which enables me to unlock higher fps options. Gaming in 120 fps makes phone really hot and uncomfortable to hold after 20mins. Didn't face any throttling but the heat generated may not be good for battery in long run. But this is just my assumption My device - OP9R

​@@sprinter5901 My phone doesn't heat that much on some ROMs at 120fps. On some it does. I recommend Evolution X. But whenever I update a custom ROM there is always an issue. Sometimes my wifi gives up sometimes playservices crash that is why I want them to unlock the fps on stock ROM.

Hey i have a OnePlus 8 and haven't been getting 90 fps in games like cod mobile which used to give me 90 fps before, haven't gotten 90 fps since the android 11 update. Is there anyway to fix this other than downgrading back to android 10? Im currently on the latest android version for OnePlus 8. ( I have used your downgrade from Android 11 to 10 video multiple times due to the low fps (60 fps) instead of 90 😅)

yup, color os trashed my screen on time and also my standby. with oxygen os 11 rooted with greenify and disabled system apps 3 days of standby and 2 days of moderate use was easy to achieve, but color os 13 wouldn't make it through the day. after upgrading to a custom rom, like lineage os 20 in my case, 7 hours SOT.

my op8t updated from oxygen os 11 to 13 in my sleep and I wanted to throw my phone away. absolutely atrocious update and what a fall from grace for oneplus. so disappointing and oneplus should be ashamed for stooping to such heights. the update was goddamn hideous, slow and ruined my battery life, couldn't even make it through a single day. not too mention it broke my root (ofc it did). i didn't hesitate to either downgrade to OOS 11 or put a ROM on it, and for now i have lineage os 20 and far better than oppo os 13, but i miss the features of oxygen os 11 the most.
